"Oh, it's you again."
Okay I'm pretty sure dead people don't hear other people.
"Yeah but they can hear their god, don't you think?" A voice responded, as if he read my thoughts.
I jolted up and took a deep breath. My eyes were wide open. They landed on Hades.
"What the..." I looked around. Turns out I was back in Hades' castle. How pleasant. I sighed. "What do you want?"
"Too many things you can't get. But what you can do is tell me who you really are." He crossed his arms.
"I already told you. You know what they say, with age the first thing that goes is the memory."
"You're verry funny. There is no way a... let's say legacy of Hades, of mine would have that much power. You got rid of all light for a minute or so. That's... impossible. I don't know if I can do that myself." He explained.
"Then you don't know yourself very good. Why would I lie to you? I don't get anything out of it!" I was confused. Surely what I did wasn't such a huge deal to him. Then again... I died.
"You... are strange. There's something about you i can't quite put my finger on. The moment I met you I  had a deja vu, but it was not because you look like Nico." He seemed to scan me with his eyes. He looked in deep thought. Like when you try to find a specific moment in a book you've read years ago, and you have to search carefully through all the pages. Or maybe I reminded him from a suppressed memory. Maybe he wanted to forget it. Or maybe a memory that was taken from him. Who would have that kind of power is yet to discover.
He shaked his head. "I'm putting you in the dungen for a while. You're too dangerous." He grabbed my arm and dragged me towards his prison.
"WHAT!" I screamed. "Are you crazy?! I'm your granddaughter! Let go of me!" I tried to escape his grip.
He rolled his eyes and snapped his fingers, making me lose my conscience.

I woke up with a groan. It took a few seconds for me to remember what happened. I looked around. The walls were black, the floor was cold and hard and the barns looked like stalactites and stalagmites. I couldn't see anything outside. There was light only in the cell. Where it was coming from, i'm still wondering. To my right, there was another set of bars that probably meant there were more cells. I groaned, again, and lightly hit my head against the wall. Next to me was a bed. I figured Hades didn't bother to throw me on it.
"Ahh finally somebody neeeew."
I nearly hit my head on the ceiling from the jump-scare I got. Somebody aggressively grabbed the bars. Her voice was high-pitched, tho it wasn't natural. She seemed to force it a bit for the sake of the act. There was also a slight british accent.
"Jesus Christ! Who are you?"
"There ain't no Jesus heree, darlin'." She giggled.
I don't think she was in her right mind. Hades must've kept her here for so long... it made her go off the rails.
"No...no darlin'... I ain't crazy. I simply believe it's more entertaining to play like it. And it scares people away... crazy people always scare normal people away. It makes you wonder who's actually crazyyy." She laughed.
"How did you...?"
"I'm more powerful than you think, darlin'."
"I can't see you. Come into the light." As creeped out as i was, my curiosity overcame my fear. I heard her get up and slowly walk towards me. We were still separated but it was close enough. I also figured that she had heels.
"Hello there, darlin'.
I chocked. She was wearing a long red dress wich had the front part from the waist down missing. She wore tight black leather pants and long, up the knee, high heel boots. Her décolletage was pretty wide, it went all the way to where the dress and the pants parted. In between there was black lace with a veins-like pattern. Her sleeves were tight and cut in two from the middle down. Her hair was black and long, reaching the middle of her back. It was pretty straight but still had a little bit of volume. She had very pale skin, dark red lipstick, a big, sharp eyeliner and long black nails.'They could be useful in a fight. She'd be like an angry cat." I thought.
"Aaa- hi..?" Damn...I like girls...but on the other hand, Zoe... but then her again.
I need therapy.
"Take a picture, it'll last longer." She smirked.
"Oh believe me, I would, but you know... death equals no phone. And no wi-fi, what a crude fate..." I zoned out. I mean, how can I read fanfictions and watch tiktoks in Hell?
"Anyhow, what's your name? You never aswered me." I took a step closer.
She chuckled. "Names are a powerful thing, darlin'... usually you shouldn't land a stranger your name. But, I'm going to make an excepiton with you, since you're not a stranger."
"We just met." I stated the obvious.
"Mhm..My name is Katrina." She smiled.
"That doesn't sound English. Figured you'd be a United Kindom fella, judging by your accent."
"I ain't said nothing about it being natural, dear." She giggled. She seems to enjoy herself downhere.
"I'm..." I stopped. I couldn't decide. Should I tell her my name or the fake name i've given the people at Camp Half-Blood?
"Yea, yea I know. Bianca. Or Mary. Maybe we'll do a little mashup. Bianry...Marynca...-"
"No, no let me stop you. We are not doing-"
"Maria! That's it. I'll call you Maria." She interrupted me and smiled innocently.
"Like my grandmother. It's not that bad. I'm not sure i want to ask why you wouldn't call me by my name." I sighed. I had a gut feeling that something is not right. I felt like i knew her even tho i've never seen her before. She didn't seem...interested in doing any harm to me. Like throw me in the Styx or Tartarus. That's good enough.
"What did you do to piss off Hades?" I asked her.
"Ah, it's um.. it's complicated. That's another story, for another day. But now that you're here I can finally escape this place. I mean...both of us."
"One, how can i trust you? Two, you said it yourself, you're powerful. Why do you need me?" I frowned.
"Well my cell is enchanted. Special gift from...Hades. Yours is not. We find a way to break those bars and then you go find the book that has the spell in it."
"Oh right, 'cuz Hades would totally let a book with that importance just laying around. I figure you threaten him in some way." I rolled my eyes.
"You have no idea." She muttered. "People always keep their values as close as they can to them. Especially a ruler. A king. So the only logical place for the book to be is...."
"...The throne room." I guessed.
"Fifty points to Slytherin." She giggled. The only thought that went through my head was: 'I'm screwed.Again.'

A/n: Hi guys! How do you feel about this new character? She's one of my OCs. I got writer's block for a while so I decided to include her in the story.
