A/n: I hate when I get spoilers so I give you a spoiler warning for those who haven't read the Burning Maze :)

I know what you're thinking. That I'm selfish. That it was a idiotic idea to save only my dad and I. That I'm not a true hero. Well let me ask you something. Would you have done something different? Would've you sacrificed your life for a person you just met? Now don't be shy, stop thinking about being a good person. Because 'good' and 'bad' doesn't exist. There is power and the ones who know how to use it.

We all know the Harry Potter universe.(you didn't hear this from me but I doubt that they're just some books). Think about it. In real life, in reality, would've Hogwarts ever won? Would a bunch of old wizard and mentally unstable teenagers win a war against the second most powerful wizard that ever lived and his army of adult(still mentally ill if you ask me) wizard that are literally named 'Death Eaters'?

We can also talk about demigods. Like c'mon dude, some children with mommy and daddy issues against the literal Earth. Anyway, let's just be happy that almost everyone is alive at the moment.

Since I saw how weak Will was I have decided to shadow-travel straight to the infirmary. We collapsed in a corner of a empty room.

"GUYS! I NEED HELP!" I screamed. Almost instantly, Lou-Ellen and Cecile ran into the room.

"Mary?! How are you back so soon?" Lou looked very confused. Then she noticed Will. "Oh my gods! Quick, lay him on a bed. I'll take care of him." She said. She then asked me and Cecile to get out so she can have more space.

As soon as we were out Cecile started to interrogate me.

"Where are the others?" He frowned.

"About that...turns out that Meg works with the Emperor so Apollo is with them. Don't worry tho, I know that Meg will be on our side eventually." I paused so he can process. He nodded toward me, telling me to continue. "When I saw Nero coming I hid behind a cocoon. That's where Will and the other's were kept hostage. I knew that I had to get out of there, since I value nothing to Nero he would've killed me on the spot. I remembered that I could shadow-travel myself and one more person out of there. So I just opened the cocoon to find Will inside. I have decided to just save both of us. I know that Apollo can manage on his own. I have faith." To make it more credible I never met his eyes. That shows the fact that I was ashamed of myself.

Cecile sighed deeply. "I can't say you did the right thing but thank you so much for saving Will. You should probably go tell your brother that his boyfriend is alive." He gave me a small smile and walked back in the room.

"My brothe- oh, oh. Nico. If I'm gonna keep forgetting those things I'll so expose myself.." I mumbled to myself.

I walked out of the infirmary and headed to the Hades cabin. I knocked a few times and then stopped realizing that Nico wasn't there.

'If he's not in his cabin and not in the infirmary, he's either in the training area or at Zeus' fist. I thought. He usually goes to the Fist when he's sad. Right now, I think he is more likely angry. At himself for not being able to protect Will and at Apollo since everyone says it's his fault for everything that's happening. So, I headed to the training area.

"HEY! NICO!" I shouted. He was sparing with someone. I walked towards him, with a bright smile on my lips.

"Hi Mary...how can I help you?" He said in a low voice. He looked me up and down with a 'why the hell are you smiling like that when the love of my life is in danger' look.

"Oh I don't need help. I just came to tell you that Will's okay. I was gonna die, so I shadow-travelled out of there. And I took Will with me."

His face lightened up. "For real?!" He asked. I nodded. "OH MY GODS, YES!" Then he jumped on me and hugged me with a force I didn't know he had. "I love you! Thank you! You're the best." He said as he jumped up and down like a little kid.

"He's in the infirmary. You should go." I chuckled. He nodded aggressively and started running towards the infirmary. I laughed. There were these moments, when he would look like the happy ten-year old that was obsessed with Mythomagic.

I heard someone laugh too, behind me. Then I remembered that Nico was sparing with someone. I turned to see who it was. The guy had blonde straight hair, stormy blue eyes, glasses, and a well build body. The thing that caught my attention the most was the small scar under his lip. Could this be...

"Ah I love that kid. Anyway you must be Mary. Nico's new half-sister. I'm Jason Grace." He shook my hand. I just stood there gaping at him because OH MY GODS I HAVE DREAMED TO MET HIM. Jason Grace was one of the Seven, son of Jupiter, and Thalia Grace's brother. He was also Piper McLean's boyfriend. Why am I using 'was' instead of 'is'? Because he died. In my time, Jason Grace is long dead. He was killed in battle by the famous roman emperor, Caligula. You may also know him as 'Gaius Julius Caesar'. Jason is a legend in my time. My parents, Percy, Annabeth, Piper, Leo, Reyna, Thalia and so many more never actually let him die. He meant so much for so many people. His memory stayed alive.

"Wow....I mean! Hello! It's so nice meeting you!" I looked in his eyes, mesmerized.

"Look, sorry but I have a girlfriend." He said. It must've looked like I was checking him out. My eyes widened.

"Oh no! You got the wrong idea. I already have eyes for someone. I just heard the things you did and-and the people you saved. And your dedication. It's just-wow!" I ranted. "Thank you so much. For saving the world." I looked deep in his eyes.

"I-this is the first time someone ever thanked me for saving them. You are so welcome. I have a feeling we'll get along very well." He smiled at me.

"Of course." I smiled back.
