"Should we call Moon or Kinkaou?" Qibli asked. "Do you honestly think they'd know what to do?!" Winter asked sharply. "Well maybe Kinkajou could think of something? Since she's been around the crystal for a couple days now." Qibli pointed out.
"I don't know! I just need to figure out how to stop this!" Winter shouted, grabbing one of his wings.

"Alright, I called them. Kinkajou should be here, and Moon said she'd be able to come once she finishes unpacking a few boxes in her room." Qibli said, putting his phone in his pocket. "They actually believed you?" Winter asked. "Well, I kinda left out the wings, tail, and horn part—" Qibli said, rubbing the back of his neck. "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!" Winter shouted at Qibli. "I didn't think they'd believe me!" Qibli answered, dodging Winter's wing.
"Hello?" Someone asked, knocking on the door a couple times. "Kinkajou!" Winter and Qibli said in unison.
Qibli opened the door, letting Kinkajou in. "So, where's Winter?" She asked, glancing around the living room. Winter fell from the ceiling, managing to flap his wings at the last minute. "Holy pineapples!" Kinkajou said, watching Winter hover in the air. "That's amazing!" She exclaimed, Winter landing wobbly.
"It's certainly not amazing!" Winter shouted, flaring his wings. "It is! You're the first ever half human half dragon!" She said. "Well, second." Kinkajou said with a sly smile. "Wait— second?" Qibli asked. Kinkajou nodded, closing her eyes.
After a moment, yellow wings with pink splotches and dots appeared in her back, along with a tail, and short grey horns. "YOU'VE BEEN ABLE TO DO THAT THIS WHOLE TIME?!" Qibli asked, gawking at her.
"Mhm! I've been able to do this for a few days now!" Kinkajou answered happily, beaming. "Well can you help winter with that?  Seems being a dragon's made him angrier than usual." Said Qibli, Winter crossing his arms and glaring at them both.
Kinkajou spent nearly an hour trying to help Winter hide his horns, wings, and tail as the doorbell rang. "That must be Moon." Qibli said.
Qibli opened the door a crack, and no surprise, it was Moon. "I got your text, what's the emergency?" She asked, stepping inside. Moon stopped in her tracks at the sight of Winter, her eyes darting from his horns, to his wings, and landing on his tail. "Well, that." Qibli said, gesturing to Winter. Moon looked as though she was deep in thought while staring at Winter, her breath was slow and quiet. "Moon, are you OK?" Kinkajou asked, walking over to her. Moon snapped out of her trance, blinking. "Yeah, just a quick headache, but it's over now." She answered, looking at the floor. Kinkajou nodded. How does someone recover from a headache that quickly?  Qibli asked himself. Maybe from the crystal? It could give Moon quick headaches. Maybe we each get different symptoms? Qibli shook his head slightly.  It's like we're living in some sort of fantasy. Qibli looked up, an idea striking him like lightning. "I'm assuming that look means you've got an idea?" Kinkajou asked.
"Well, remember that book about the kids who could also transform to actual dragons, and not just half-human half-dragon?" Qibli asked. Kinkajou thought for a moment before her eyes lit up. "Are you saying we could turn to actual dragons?!" She asked. "Well, I hope so." Qibli said. "Maybe the way those kids turned to dragons is the same way we could." Moon said quietly. "You all think this is like some book series? I mean yes, this is like a fantasy book, but it's not like this is exactly the same." Winter said, rolling his eyes. "Think about it, Winter! They found a crystal, check for us," Kinkajou said. "The angriest character turns half dragon, another check for us. The whole group goes to the one who turned half dragons' house, another check for us." Kinkajou finished, beaming at Winter.
