•Bailey's POV•
Nash looked so familiar. I jut can't remember where I've seen him from.
Our new house has empty boxes scattered everywhere. The only boxes that weren't empty were the ones that had all of the bedroom stuff.
"Hey Bailey, your sister is letting you pick the room you want," my mom calls.
"Okay I'll bring my boxes into it," I yell back.
I grab two boxes and carry them up the stairs into the room I chose. I really like this room. It's a perfect square. The bathroom and closet are on opposite sides, and the door and window are in opposite sides. I look out of the window. Hey, the house beside my room is Nash's house. I wonder who's room is beside mine.
I tap my window. No one opens the blinds. Then I open my window.
"Hey," I shout through it.
I see the blinds ruffle open and Nash stares into my room.
He smiles, "Hey Bailey."
"Toss me your phone," I say and hold my arm out.
"What if it falls? We're on the second story and I am not paying for a new phone," he starts.
"Fine then," I say. I open my phone and start a contact for Nash.
"Put your number in it," I say and toss my phone across the thin strip of yard in between our houses. He backs up ad catches it.
He quickly types his number into my phone and tosses it back.
I lean out of my window and catch it. Of I hadn't leaned, it would have hit off the side of my house and broken.
"We'll need to work on your tossing..." I laugh.
"Yeah okay," he laughs with me.
"Did you ever play baseball? Maybe me, you, and Hayes can go up to the batting cages and hit a couple," I say.
"I used to and yeah that sounds fun," he smiles.
I smile back. "Cool. I'll text you later. I need to unpack," I say. I make my fingers in the shape of a gun and point it at my head. Nash laughs and we close our windows.
Ugh I have a lot of unpacking to do.

I just finished unpacking the last box. I check my phone. 9:56. Wow. That took me three hours... but hey, my room is D-O-N-E.
I walk down the stairs and see empty boxes piled up everywhere. Everyone must be sleeping. I walk back up to my room and close my door. I am so tired ugh. I'm so happy I still have the whole weekend to sleep.
I wash my face and brush my teeth then dive into my bed.
It doesn't take me long to fall asleep.

I wake up around 10:30. I'm still tired. I glance at all the empty boxes scattered around my room and make a pile of them at the top of the stairs. Then I push them over and hop in one and slide down the stairs. In a box.
Life goals complete.
I walk into the kitchen and see everyone talking- including Nash and some of his family.
I sit down in an empty empty seat in between Hayes and Courtney.
"I thought you'd never wake up," Elizabeth laughs.
"I was so tired last night," I say an run my fingers through my knotted hair.
"What was that noise when you came down the stairs? I heard a loud thump. Are you okay?" My mom asks.
I look at the pile of boxes, "Uh, actually I slid down the stairs in a box.
Nash and Hayes's eyes light up.
"Can we do that?!" They jump.
"Yes!" I say and run toward the stairs.
I throw a box of each of them and run up the stairs. Hayes goes first, then me, then Nash. We all went down I a straight line.
"Ready, set, go!" Hayes calls.
We slide down the stairs. Well, it was more like bouncing.
Nash and I piled onto Hayes.
"Ouch," he laughs.
"That wasn't the greatest idea.." Nash smiles.
These guys are kinda like my friends back home. They did stupid things with me. I don't know them thaaat well, but so far, I like them. I don't want to lose them.
