Sutton’s point of view

‘Good morning’ I leant back in the large, brown leather chair. It oozed of old scotch and coffee. I would kill for a good cup of coffee right now. My head ached badly from the lack of sleep.

‘Morning? What do you mean? It’s the middle of the afternoon, sweetheart!’ He sipped from a large coffee mug. ‘Do you want an espresso or something? You seem tired.’ I must have had no sleep last night. There was a small hand mirror in my hand. A tired panda with red eyes was to be seen in the reflection. Great! I would need a super good concealer to cover that up…

‘Please’ Andre walked to his counter of drinks. I closed the mirror together and followed him with my eyes. He had a collection of old whisky and a black coffee machine. The office was decorated in an old-fashion way. It had shelves full of ancient books and dusty golf-trophies. A large mahogany desk was placed at the end of the rectangular room directly in front of the large window. The window had a view of green landscape, small hills and other mansions which all slowly disappeared in the horizon. I didn't even notice that Andre had handed me the mug of coffee because I had my eyes glued on the TV screen. There was a picture in the far left corner of Tom and me holding hands. Man, they got the bad side of me!

'Tom Daley was spotted outside Funky Buddha at 3AM this morning hand in hand with Sutton Halls after his birthday celebration. Rumor has it that this relationship is not pure business anymore. He was seem few hours later outside of her hotel...' Andre muted the TV and faced me. He sat in his large office chair with a pleased grin on his face.

'Well done, my dear!' He put his hands together. The silent applause echoed in the empty halls. Everything seemed to go almost too smoothly.

'What if I get busted?' I sounded a bit anxious.

‘Follow the code. You can never go wrong with the code’ Rule #1; 'Never get caught' Taken directly from the show Dexter.

'Got it’ I glanced down at my wrist watch. Five past twelve. ‘By the way, what’s up with all the packed suitcases in my suite last night? I thought you told me to pack lightly this time’ A part of me was confused, but it felt like good news. The chauffeur did only take my sports attire. I wonder what he’s up to.

‘Just a couple of fundraisers, charity events, promos for the Olympics etcetera’

‘If you don’t have anything else in mind, I have to catch my flight.'

‘Young lady, in fact I do!’ There’s more? Andre pulled up his pants and sat down on the edge of the red wooden desk. He twisted his body around, bent over the table and stuck his hand down in one of the drawers. A set of keys flew up in the air. My instincts struck, and I caught the keys before it hit my face. Guess who’s wide awake now! ‘Congratulations on your first penthouse’ I felt my jaw drop my feet. I’m speechless… 'Run along now, Mallorca is waiting'
