Days goes by , now Jungguk can walk without anyone's support. He still has his sling and the ribs hurt like hell now too. But if you ask him, he will say it's a six out ten now. He hasn't set foot outside of Namjoon's place and he wasn't really getting bored by that either. Jungguk never sat free like this, not since he started law school. Was always busy with study, campaign, project, charity work and whatever that came in his mind to help the hybrids. When started working he always took cases where the hybrids were the victims and he tried everything in his power to bring them justice. Many asked his why he chose to help the hybrids? He never really bothered replying and always ALWAYS counter asked " why are you asking for a reason to help the needy? ".
Namjoon took almost every case Jungguk has been leading and always updated the status. That could only happen when Jin allowed them. Because for Jin, Jk still needed rest and he was taking care of him like a baby. The humans in the household had no say against the threatening glare of the handsome wolf. Jungguk was reading a file that was fighting against a chemical company where the majority workers were hybrids and the pay, working environment were not exactly employ friendly. Then came Jin bearing gifts in the form of strawberry ice cream. He went shopping and bought Jk's favorite ice cream. The older hugged him saying he needs to go out again to meet bakery owners. Junnguk is so immersed in the file while scooping the ice cream when he hears a loud growl and a thundering voice
"How dare you touch my things? "
Jungguk's head shoot up at that and his eyes go rounder at seeing the figure in front of him. There stands a boy in dark Green sweater and khaki cargo pants with so many wrist bands on both hands and cluster of book and colour pencils holding tight to his chest. He has dark wavy hair reaching upto his eyebrows and the most beautiful eyes he has ever seen. It's big and cat like with a pinch of brown choco has spread on it. He looked at his lips but he couldn't pin point what was the colour as he was mesmerized to look at the figure. His thin long fingers are made into a fist But the lawyer is dumbfounded for real. He blinks that is all he get to react.
"Don't you dare touch my thing in this household. Know your limits. You are taking too much time in my family? why don't you just get healed faster and move?" and with that the boy with the most beautiful voice Jungguk ever heard, (trust me for Jungguk everything the boy saying is going in deaf ears.) takes the ice cream bowl and storms inside his room and shuts the door. Jungguk is still processing what just happened.
Taehyung is furious. Already the Jungguk guy is sweet talking to his hyungs and they are head over heels for him. No!!! he is not jealous of their close relationship. Why would he be? He is okay on his own. He is talking to his hyung whenever he needed to that is all they need. -" How dare he eat my favorite ice cream I bought for myself. Jin hyung really should control him. He is using this house as his own. I don't even share my things with anyone and he dared to eat his favorite food in the world ? "- he mumbles and start eating the ice cream until he feels full. Then he peek through the door and find the Jungguk guy out of his eyesight and goes to kitchen to place the ice cream can. He opens the freezer and freezes himself. The ice cream he bought is still there in it's full glory. He looks at the almost finished can in his hand and facepalms himself.
" This is humiliating... " and he runs back to his room.
Taehyung is almost on the verge of tears thinking about the way he reacted to Jungguk. How is he supposed to look at him from now on? He thinks of ways to avoid him. He thinks renting a new place or going to Yoongi and spend the rest of his life there. He can't and he won't be able to face the lawyer without being ashamed of his deeds now. Then he thinks of the most difficult way he ever had to face ' saying sorry '. But his pride is not letting him, after all he is a Tiger. when he thinks about the doe eyes he decides not to say sorry. But what if he complaints to Jin? what if his hyungs hate him more? These thoughts make Taehyung teary eyed again. So he decides go against his own pride and goes back to the kitchen and fetch his strawberry can and knock the other man's door.
" It's open.."
Taehyung opens the door and slowly comes inside the room. He is not looking at the man who is sitting with his head supported on the head board the bed. He mumbles something like sorry that is almost inaudible and extend the ice cream can to him.
" It's... it's okay.. I am not mad Taehyung " Jungguk replies.
Tae looks at the man, he looks like a bunny with a coconut head. He is handsome. wait !!! what is he thinking? he is not here to ogle the lawyer. He says sorry one more time and bows and stats to move out of the room. Then he hears Jungguk saying
" I am not a bad person Taehyung, if I could I would've moved out long before you... I wouldn't even come here in the first place." Jungguk huffs and that sends a pang in Taehyung's chest.
" I..I know.. I didn't mean ... any ..any of that..I am sorry " and he rushes to his room and cries.
