  The next morning I slowly wake up to the sun in my eyes. I turn over onto my side groaning loudly. My ribs hurt so bad. I slowly sit up wrapping an arm around my torso. I stand up and look at my half naked body in the mirror and see all the black and purple bruises around my ribs. That nomu really fucked me up.
     A hear a soft knock at my door. "Hold on!" I call out as I hurry and out on a shirt and pants then walks over to the door opening it. Dabi looks down at me with his hands in his pockets. "Did you just now wake up?" He asks.
    "Uh yeah." He scoffs at me walking passed me into my room. "You realize it's noon right?" I look at him confused. "It is? I thought it was earlier then that." I shrug my shoulders and sit on my bed. "What do you want staples?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
     He leans back against the wall across from me not looking at me but the ceiling. "Shigaraki wants us to go out for recruits today." I groan and roll my eyes. "Do I have to go with you?" I asked rudely. He's now looking at me, wait, did- did I actually hurt his feelings? I see it in his eyes. He rolls his eyes and pushes himself off the wall and walks to the door. "Fine. But don't come complaining to me when Shigaraki yells at you." He says as he's about to leave.
       I get up from the bed and raise my voice, "wait! I'm sorry that was rude. Okay. What time are we going?" I ask nicely this time. He looks at me over his shoulder. "In twenty minutes so get ready. I'll meet you in the bar." And with that he walks out of my room. I sigh and slouch my shoulders. Great.

       I meet up with Dabi in the bar then we head out. We walk in silence not saying anything to each other. About an hour goes by before Dabi finally speaks to me. "I know you were lying about killing the nomu." He accuses. My blood runs cold to his confession. "W-what do you mean?" I ask softly. He stops walking and turns to me. "You play with your fingers when you lie. Don't think I didn't notice. What really happened?"
       I avoid his eyes as I try to think of a good answer before finally looking at him. "I ran into some hero fighting a nomu. When he saw I wasn't attacking it or helping him he knew I was a villain and attacked me. Once I got rid of the hero the nomu attacked me. And I did kill it." I say as convincing as I could trying my hardest not to play with my fingers as they twitch.
       He gives me a long look before shrugging his shoulders and starts to walk again. I start to walk with him again in silence. As I'm about to say something to him he grabs my upper arm and pulls me into a very tight alleyway that barely fit both of us as he's now in front of me, his hands against the wall on each side of my head. Our bodies almost fully pressed against each other.
      My face goes bright red. He covers my mouth and whispers, "be quiet." I look at him confused then hear people talking.
      "The report says they saw them here but I don't see them." A mans voice said. "I don't know man. We've been getting a lot of these calls since the villains attacked. It could just be another spooked civilian thinking they saw something." Another mans voice said.
       My heart was racing and I'm sure Dabi could almost feel it. The two guys continue talking and we stay quiet until their voices get so faint we can't hear them anymore. After another minute or two of staying quiet, Dabi looks down at me. "I think they're gone now."
      I nod my head. My face is still red from our closeness. I look at him and he smirks at me leaning closer to my face. "You're face is red and your heart is racing. You okay?" He teases. He knows damn well why I am this way right now!
      "U-uh, we are just s-so close." I muttered out. He smiles at me then leans into my neck that I could feel his breath against it making my heart race more. One of his hands grips my waist bringing me even closer to him pushing his thigh between my legs almost touching my heated core that I'm sure he could feel my heat on his thigh.
      "You're trembling under my touch." He basically purrs to me. I tilt my head back against the wall flustered. He gets away from my neck then looks at me smiling. He slowly leans his face closer to mine. Our lips inches apart. Is he going to kiss me? As if reading my mind, he pulls away and gets out of the right alleyway leaving me there slightly breathing heavier and flustered.
       He smirks at me putting his hands in his pockets. "Come on. We still have to recruit people." He casually says like that didn't just happen. I glare at him and walk passed him hearing him chuckle behind me.

        We get back to the base hours later with four new people and hand them to Shiggy. Once he talks to them and thanks us we leave the room. Dabi walks away from me and heads to his room shutting his door.  I walk down the hall passing my room and head to another room.
       I softly knock on the door and wait a few minutes  before the door opens and I see a red winged blondie smiling at me.
