After searching around for hours and no signs of where the rest of the league went, I go into a small dark alleyway and sit down closing my eyes resting my head back against the brick building. Tears threatened to spill over my face again but I took a deep breath and calmed myself down.
How long? How long has he been spying on the league? What did he want? What was he trying to figure out and learn? My thoughts raced over and over with the same things. I wasn't sure how I was gonna tell the others or even if I should get. If they found out, they'd kill him. And honestly I don't want that.
I heard a crunch on my left side making me jump up off the floor and try to look in the dark. It went quiet for a second until I heard it again. It sounded like footsteps. My body goes tense not sure of who it was. As I'm about to walk away, the person speaks, "Kayda?" I stopped and looked trying to look again. I recognize the voice and immediately my blood went hot with anger.
"You fucking left me!" I yelled at Dabi as I started to stomp towards him. He puts his hands up and stops in his tracks. "Hey! I had to! If I would of stayed, they could of gotten both of us. I had to get out of there. I was gonna come get you if they did." I stopped in front of him and sighed looking at him angrily.
A small smirk comes across his face as he pulls me in and wraps his arms around me into a tight hug around my waist. At first I hesitated before hugging him back tightly. I breathed in his scent that immediately calmed me down. We stayed wrapped in each other's arms for what felt like eternity's
We pull away from each other slightly and our faces are inches apart. We both slowly leaned in until there was only and inch left of our lips touching. As we went to close the small space, I hear Toga gasp causing us to break away from each other. I look over at her with a blush on my face.
"You guys were about to kiss!?" Toga practically screams. "Uh no, what are you talking about?" I say as I look away. She starts to laugh and gets closer to me with a smile and whispers to me, "Girl, get it! I've never seen him like someone before." We both start to laugh a little bit then Dabi clears his throat.
"We should get with the others." He says not looking at us. My eyes widen and I smile. "Wait they others are okay?" I asked hopefully. Toga smiles and grabs my hand. "Yeah we were able to get out because of Kiriguri! Come on!" She says happily as she starts pulling me down the alley with Dabi following behind us.

We get to a small building that's hiding in the woods far away enough nobody could find us easily. My legs hurt from walking so much that they felt so sore they wanted to give out. We got inside and see everyone gathered in the kitchen. My dad looks up and smiles as he reaches his arms out in front of himself as he walks up to me.
He wraps his arms around me into a hug as he spoke, "Oh thank god you're okay. I was so worried." I smile softly at my dad as I hugged him. "I'm okay dad, I was looking for you guys and found Dabi and Toga." I said to him in a reassuring tone. We part from the hug and smile at each other.
We walk to the counter and I said hi to everyone. Shigaraki comes out of a hallway and sees I'm here finally. "Ah, we've been waiting for you. Took you long enough." I smiled and rolled my eyes at him. We go over what happened and what to do now. After we talked for awhile, I was shown the room I'd be staying in. Since there were only so many rooms, I was sharing the room with Toga.
I showered then went into my room to start getting dressed until the door opened and Dabi walked in. "Dabi, what are you doing? Where Toga?" I asked him as I held the towel around my body more. He softly shut the door and smiles at me. "She let me take this room with you so she has a room to herself." He says with a smirk. I roll my eyes and smile. "Of course she did. " I said with a small laugh.
I turn around and grab my shirt on the bed trying to ignore Dabi whos slowly getting closer to me. He walks up behind me and lightly wraps his arms around my waist resting his chin on my shoulder. He turns his head and softly kisses my neck sending shivers down my back. His hot breath spreads across my skin.
"I'll let you get dressed. I wanna show you something. Meet me outside when you're done. Be sure to bring a jacket. It'll be cold for you." He softly says then kisses my neck again. A small smile forms on my face as he pulls away and leaves the room. I start to get dressed and dry my hair. I put on my shoes and grab a jacket hanging in the closet then walk out of the room quietly.
It was late and I didn't want to wake anyone up. I go out the front door and softly shut the door since dad was sleeping on the couch. I see Dabi looking up at the star covered clear sky. I smile softly as I walk up to him and bump my shoulder against his arm lightly. He looks down at me and smiles. "Ready?" He softly asks.
I smile and nod and we start walking further into the woods. We talked and talked as we kept walking until he hit a big hill. "Are we going up there?" I turned to him and asked. He chuckles and nods. "Yeah, I can carry you if you don't want to keep walking." He says with a grin.
I roll my eyes at him and start walking up the hill. "Nah I'm a big girl I got this." I chuckles softly as I hear his scoff playfully behind me.

Not even half way done going up, I stop heavily breathing. "Oh my god this hill is so steep." I groaned. Dabi chuckles as he grabs me hand and goes in front of me. "Come on, up." He laughs to me. I smile as I jump on his back being careful not to hit his staples. I rest my chin on his shoulder and wrap my arms and legs around him.
"Thank you." I said close to his ear smiling. He smiles and turns his face close to mine. "You're welcome slow ass." We both laughed as he kept walking us up the hill until we hit the top. I see a blanket spread across the ground with food and drinks on it.
Dabi sets me down and smiles at me as he sits down on the blanket. "Come join me?" He asks with hope in his eyes. I smile and nod my head as I sit across him on the blanket. I look out and see that we have a clear view of the city lights down below stretching out for miles and miles. The stars were out and bright covering the clear sky. It was a full moon tonight shining over the trees and grass.
"Wow this is gorgeous Dabi. How'd you find this?" I asked looking at him. He smiles looking out at the city. "I actually used to come out here as a kid. That's how I knew about the house. Nobody has been in that house even before I was born. I came here when I needed to think." He says like he's lost in thought.
I smile at him softly as I rest my hand on top of his. He turns and looks at me and smiles. Our fingers started to intertwine as if they were vines twirling together. "So, tell me more about yourself. You really don't talk about yourself." Dabi asks. I smile then look away.
"Well there's nothing much to say. I was abandoned at a very young age until dad found me when I was on the brink of death. He saved me. If he didn't take me in I would of been dead. Since then I've been training with my dad and just surviving." I shrugged and looked out at the city lights that looked like soft ambers.
Dabi smiles at me as I look at him. "What?" I asked him softly. He smiles more then leans in and softly kisses me.
