Chapter 5
Sitting in Sherry's van sure is awkward because I know that I'm a bit out of place and I don't belong. Andrew is the one driving the van.
It's already 9:30 p.m. when we got there. It's not my first time to visit the city but it changes rapidly. There are new stores that I've never seen before. There are stalls that are quite new to me. As far as I know, I've gone here just a few weeks ago and it changed a lot. The crowd is noisy and rowdy on the other side of the street. There's a bar there and most of the party goers there are teenagers. Well, they look like one if ever I've mistaken. The theatre is just in front of us with big lights flashing back and forth.
I'm wearing black skinny jeans, boots, and a yellow tank top this time. My auburn hair is tied up in a bun. Rico is standing beside Sherry and I'm thinking Sherry would make him for the rest of the night. Something's inside me that keeps me burning with fury every time I see them together. I don't know what. He seems like he's enjoying the night anyway so no need for me to be bitter. Sherry brought her few "friends" namely Mark, Andrew, and Drake. I really don't think they've even known each other quite well. These guys are just good looking that's why she let them join. What a whore. I am surprised that those triplets won't be able to make it but I am happy about it.
"You know guys, I was thinking that movie time will be boring. So, I guess let's just make our way to the bar right there. Since we're just few, let's spend the night with some party!" Sherry announced.
"That would be hell perfect." Mark agreed.
"Can't wait to get drunk on a Friday night!" Drake seemed so excited about it.
"Hey! That's not part of the plan. You told us that we are only going to watch." I complained.
"You know what? Just be grateful that you're able to be here with us." Sherry said distastefully.
"Don't forget that you should be grateful for me, too. 'Cause without me, Rico won't be coming with you. Ever."
"That's not true." Sherry told me bitterly.
"Why? Jealous?" I told her.
"You're really one little bastard that's going to kill the joy of the night. If you want to stay outside, then stay outside. I don't give a shit! I'm really right that letting you join will be such a bad idea. I just told them not to bring garbage." Sherry said angrily. She just blasted.
"Who told you, you can spit this kind of crap at me?" My temper is burning like fuel.
"C'mon Karly! You're one big shit yourself. Why won't you-"
I didn't wait for her to humiliate me more. I pulled her blonde curls as hard as I can. She yelled as she tried to get off my grip. She pulled my hair too and we ended rolling down the street walk.
We surely made a scene outside the theatre and this will be one of the moments that I wouldn't be proud about. I'm really a good person and I don't do fights. Just now.
She kept on cursing me as we do this cat fight on the streets. She yanked my hair hard and I got the initial reaction of punching her face. I felt Rico's hands as he tried to pull me away. Sherry and I looked like a hag with our swished hair.
"Stop! Stop it now!" Rico tried to calm us both down.
"C'mon man! You're ruining the scene! Haha! That's way better than the movie." Mark laughed with a hint of enjoyment
Drake helped Sherry stood up. She's trying to take those few leaves off her hair.
"This is your entire fault, you b*tch!" She started calling names again.
