Hidden Destiny

Prologue

10 years earlier

"MAMA! PAPA! come back, come back don't leave me. Please mama, please." "Gabriel they know who she is." "Erin she needs us, she's our daughter." "This is the only way she will be safe." I'm trying to hold back tears, but it is barely working. "Mama what's going on I don't want to leave please don't make me." Mama had tears running down her face, and was beet red. Some straggly pieces of her auburn brown hair is pasted to her face from crying. Papa is strong, as always but I can still see the sorrow in his eyes.

All a sudden a loud knock at the door. Then Again and Again, pounding. "Mama whos their." "shush my child go with your aunt rose." I didn't see auntie until now she was standing in the corner of the, with a black hooded cape. Next thing I know she is wrapping me in it and lifting up a rug to a trap door. "Mama I don't wanna go I want to stay with you and papa."

The door is thundering again. This time I can't hold back the waterfall that is in my eyes. Their streaming down my face with passion. My mama quickly whips them away and push me into the arms of aunt rose. I can smell her perfume, it's so sweet it smells sour. She has the same golden hair as my dad, Rose is his sister, but mama sees her as a sister also. She was always their when she was needed.

I see mama open a trap door under the rug, "quickly my child" mama say while pulling on my arm. Aunt Rose and I go into the trap door, it's dark but mama hands rose a lantern. Mama begins to close, "mama" I cry out but she pays me no mind and shuts. I bang on the trap door buts no use. Rose pulls me away, as I look as her, her ivory skin as turn bright pink, tears streamed her face. I've never seen her like this she was always so strong like papa, but now she is weak. I want to comfort her, but I'm weak to. Were running now but I hear muffled screaming and banging. Someone is saying "Where is she" . Where's who could they be talking about rose. Or maybe me. The though send a chill down my boney spine. This makes me want to turn back, but I'm to terrified that I just keep running.

Finally we see light at the end of the tunnel, I don't recognize area. Their is a horse waiting, rose puts me on the horse and then jumps on behind me. She kicks the horse and were off. I ask her "where we going" she doesn't answer, I take that as a sign she doesn't want to talk. Suddenly I wake at a stop rose hops off, I must of fallen sleep with out knowing it. Were at a little cottage, it looks like when howling coon. This is our family cottage I've been here once or twice. Rose picks me up off the horse and carries me inside. She says "were gonna say here a while, ok" I say "ok".
