"Link" someone called and turned around to realize it's Hamish
"Yes, Hamish" I called back
"It looks like a storm is starting want to turn back"
"No, stay on course" I say calmly
"But link"
"No buts, stay on course" I say harshly
"Yes, captain" he says in a irritated tone
He knows I hate it when he calls me captain, but I had to be harsh with him or Hernan would be pissed if we were late to this delivery. The storm doesn't look to bad it should pass soon, but it could be trouble I really hope not. I take a breath in and look out at sea. It really is a sight to see, it's so calm but yet violent. I climb down from my position on the mast, down to the deck to check on the crew.

"James"
"yes, captain" he replies
"How is the cargo"
"Fine, sir"
"what about our guess"
"knocked out still, but still breathing"
"Are you sure their breathing"
"yes, I have my men check every hour"
"Make it every half hour, Hernan what's him alive"
"Yes, captain"
"Your dismissed"

I walk to below deck to grab something to eat, I haven't ate since our last stop in Lullin. I walk down the steps to see Hamish with the map open. I give a quick nod before getting a tin of fish.
"The storm could be bad" he says
"I thought I told you to drop it" I grumble
"I did just telling you it can be bad"
I grunt in response, taking a seat next to him
"what do you think Hernan is going to do to the prisoner" he says trying to make conversation
"I don't know and honestly don't care" I say which is not entirely true. I don't like the feeling knowing that I'm handing someone over just to die and especially to Hernan.
"You can't possibly mean that" he says in a pitiful voice. He always gets attached Hamish is to good for our line of work. Were thief's, murders even you can't care what will happen you just need to survive. I don't like killing doesn't mean I won't do it.
"You know I do, it's not wise to ask questions."
"You weren't always this cold, Hernan made you this way" he says walking away. I didn't like the way it made me felt. That I belong to Hernan and will do his biding. But he is the family I've had after I was left on his ship. He took me in since I was a baby he raised me taught me how to defend myself and how to steal.

I finished my food then went to my headquarters it was late and I had I big day tomorrow. I laid down in cotton bed. I closed my eyes and went to sleep almost instantly.

**

When I woke the sun was barley up so, I didn't sleep in. Some of the crew was up, Hamish being one of them"
He mumbled " we passed the storm"
"we did, hmh" I said with a smug look
"Yeah, yeah" he replied while I chuckled softly

"Were about to dock" William yelled
I didn't even notice that we had already reached leeside, it's about miday I thought it would be a little longer until night. I lived here but I was mostly on the sea working for Hernan. The ship docked and I saw Hernan waiting, which was odd because he would just send one of his men to come check up on the shipment and see if everything is running smoothly. I guessing this guy we have he doesn't want many people to know about or is important.

"Get the prisoner, we will get the goods later" I yelled
Sure enough James brought out the prisoner he seemed to be awake now. I removed the rag and whispered to him "make a sound and I'll gut you" I undid the bounds from his hands and again whispered to him "run and I'll gut you" he nodded while taking a big gulp. I knew Hernan didn't like people seeing his prisoners being seen so he had to look like one of us.
"Wait here" I told James
He responded with a quick nod

I grabbed on the ladder and took a few steps before I hopped on do the dock.
Then as soon as I was down Hernan came up to me "you have him"
"yes, sir"
"good, get him down"
I nodded to James who was waiting for my signal, then the prisoner climbed down the ladder James watching closely. Then as soon as he was down Hernan said to the prisoner follow me and told me to follow the prisoner. I did as he said, but not before telling Hamish to go through the cargo and sell what he can and pay the crew.
