Y/n's pov
"Today, we have two new students, Come in and introduce yourselves" The professor says. Suddenly a boy and a girl came to the front of the class. I have to admit the boy is very handsome and the girl is quite pretty. "Hello my name is Dao Ming and I hope we can get along" The girl named Dao Ming introduces first adding a smile at the end. "Hi, My name is Zuo hang but you can call me Zuo" The boy introduced.

"Okay take a seat now. We will continue with the lesson" The professor said impatiently. Dao Ming and Zuo started walking towards where me and Zhang ji were sitting. [Take note there are 4 seats in each row like the picture below👇]

Zuo sits beside me while Dao Ming sits on the other side, beside Zhang ji. "So what's your name?" Zuo asks. "Y/N L/N" I replied simply.

Time to skip to lunch~(Author's pov)
Dao Ming has taken an interest in Zhang ji as well as Zuo have taken interest in Y/N. Y/N and Zhang ji sits at the table at lunch together like they always do but the difference is Zuo is there. Then Dao Ming came, "Hi Zhang ji" Dao Ming greets totally ignoring Y/N and Zuo's presence. Zhang ji waves as an acknowledge.

Now Dao Ming turns to look at Y/N and she eyes her up and down. Giving a stank eye Dao Ming proceeds to say curtly, "Who're you?" "I'm Y/N." Y/N replies. "And who are you to Zhang ji?" Dao Ming questions like an overprotective girlfriend. "His best friend" she say trying not to rip out her throat right here, right now.

Y/n's pov
Since Dao Ming came, Zhang ji has been hanging out with her most of the day. Zuo would always attempt to talk to me but I would either get distracted by Dao Ming and Zhang ji or I would zone out. Whenever I see Zhang ji with Dao Ming I would get a weird feeling which most of the people would describe as jealousy.

Classes has ended and it was time to go back to the dorms. I am waiting for Zhang ji. 5 minutes. 10 minutes. 15 minutes. 20 minutes. 30 minutes and still no sign of Zhang ji. I was starting to get worried. Did he get kidnapped? I waited another hour and he was absolutely nowhere to be found. Another hour and I was getting tired. My neck aches.

A guard who works a night shift suddenly came and spotted me. "Hey kid! What are you doing this late? Aren't you suppose to be at the dorms right now?" The guard questions. "I'm just waiting for my best friend" I repsonded. "Oh but I'm afraid you have to go back to the dorms now" The guard says. "Please?" I pleaded it to get a no as a response.

I finally gave up and started walking to the dorms. "By the way. I checked the insides of the school and there was no one. Your best friend is probably already at the dorm" The guards added. I perked up but confusion takes over me. Zhang ji and I usually walk to the dorm together. Why wouldn't he wait for me today?

At the dorm~(still Y/n's pov)
I was gonna open the door with my dorm keys when I realized that it's already opened and I could see a light illuminating from the crack of the door. I went inside to see the sight of Zhang ji happily chatting with Dao Ming.

My heart aches but I chose to ignore them. Zhang ji didn't even look back when he heard my footsteps. I went to my room and did my business. After I and showered and did my business, I went back to the living room to see Dao Ming already gone and Zhang ji watching television. Zhang ji didn't greet me like he usually does. "Hey" I greeted first which was rare. Zhang ji glanced at me. "Why didn't you tell me you were going back home?" I asked.

"Oops" Zhang ji says not apologizing. "Seriously, I waited hours for you" I said with a frown on my face. "You're not my mom Y/N. I don't need to tell you everything I do" Zhang ji replied. Ouch he has never been like this with me before. "Well I was worried for you!" I said raising my tone a little higher. "I'm sorry then!" Zhang ji also raised his voice, "I can't always be with you!" "I'm not forcing you to always be with me! I'm just talking about why you didn't tell me you went back home!!" I said and stomped away before he could tell at me once more.

I sobbed and sobbed for hours in my room and suddenly my stomach growled. Okay I regret not eating dinner. I went out to the kitchen quietly and made myself a sandwich. I went back to my room trying not to sniffle on the way. I ate my sandwich and tucked in my bed. I drifted off to slumber hoping that Zhang ji would not act like a while ago.

Hai friends, so I was planning to change the storyline. So if you've read the description in 'Authour's note' please go read it again, thank you💕 I'm also gonna modify some chapters
