I was laughing with Zuo after he told me about his funny experience. Zuo actually confessed to me weeks after I got discharged from the hospital. And I do have to admit I developed feelings for him these past few months. So now we're a couple.
While we were having our time together, Zhang ji came up to us. We stopped laughing and turned to look at him. "Hey" he greeted us first. "Hi" I greeted back and Zuo smiled at him. "Y/N, I came here to apologize for the things that have happened in the past few months" Zhang ji tries not to break down, "I'm really sorry and I was stupid. Now I regret every single thing I did. I also realized that you're the one that I truly love so can you please forgive me?"
Zhang ji has been trying to make me forgive him within the past months and he was doing a great job. "It's okay I forgive you" I forgave him since he was my best friend and he was there for me at times, "but I'm genuinely sorry but I don't love you anymore..." I gazed at Zuo lovingly, the gaze I used to look at Zhang ji with, "I love Zuo, my boyfriend"
I send my attention back to Zhang ji to see that tears were leaking out of his eyes. "We can be best friends like before. Please don't cry. Please move on and don't stick to me" I gave him a sad yet comforting smile. Zhang ji inhaled and exhaled before nodding. "I understand" he looked at Zuo, "Take care of her" with that Zhang ji walked away. I watched the distant between me and Zhang ji slowly further away. I watched my first love walk away from me....
