It's you, it's always been you.

Bucky? Bucky!

The team all sat down at the little diner and ordered some brunch. You all sat in this cute little booth and squished together but had fun regardless. You sat right next to Bucky and Sam while Steve and Wanda sat in front of you guys. Steve asked if you guys could sit near some T.Vs to see how the Accords meeting was going, they were having it air live. As you all ate, you noticed some unfamiliar faces on the T.V. Unbothered, you continued to eat and not ask questions.

"Hey look, I see Nat and Tony on T.V!" You said.

"I wonder where Vis is? Do you see him?"

You sat facing the T.V. while Steve and Wanda had their backs towards it.

"Yeah Wanda! I see him!"

You guys continued eating, the whole time the team couldn't stop talking about what the aftermath might be if they do sign the Accords. Bucky couldn't care less.

"If you guys don't mind, I'm going to step out and walk around the fresh market." Bucky said.

"Oh B, let me come with you."

He looked down at your plate and noticed you were still eating.

"After you finish, you are more than welcome to join me doll. All of you are, I just wanted to enjoy the fresh air... and the plums!"

He gets up from the booth and kisses your forehead, you smile and watch him leave out the door.

With Bucky gone, your focus shifted back towards the T.V, interested in who those people are. You shushed the team as you saw someone walk up to the podium ready to give a speech.

"Guys shhh, I want to hear what he's going to say."

From the T.V you heard:

"Our people's blood is spilled on foreign soil. Not only because of the actions of criminals, but by the indifference of those pledged to stop them. Victory at the expense of the innocent is no victory at all."

"What a beautiful speech. I can't believe the King of Waka-"

Before you could finish, you hear a loud explosion. You try to look around to see what happened but Sam grabs your head and pulled you under the table. The explosion was in near radius of the diner so it was important to take cover. The ground rumbles and soon after you hear another explosion go off in the background. You close your eyes and cover your neck in worries of anything falling on you. You could hear people crying, screaming in the background but Sam wasn't letting you out his grip.

"S-sam, I think it's over."

Everybody gets up from under the table and looks towards the T.V. screen. On the screen you see, the King of Wakanda on the floor, lifeless. As the screen pans out, you see his son next to him holding his father in his hands sobbing for the loss of his father.

"What the hell happened here." Sam said.

You guys look outside the window of the diner, or should I say what's left. The streets filled with smoke and buildings took to flames. The United Nations building took the most damage, it was barely standing. You could see people lying on the street, lifeless.

"The whole city just took a beating." Wanda said.

All of a sudden, it hit you.

"BUCKY! Bucky, where's Bucky?"

You make a run for it but Steve grabs your arm and yanks you back. He hold you tight like a bear hug  and says," I can't let you Y/N, I'm sorry.

You begin screaming and crying, kicking your legs towards him to try and get him to let go.

"Please- please. He could be hurt Steve."

"I don't know what's out there, what's happening. I can't let you run into the fire like that, Bucky wouldn't let me."

"PLEASE STEVE, PLEA-"

You couldn't finish your sentences without crying. You began to dig your nails into your skin once again and Bucky wasn't here to stop you. You couldn't even try to look for him because the smoke was so thick, the smoke towered over the town. You continued to scream and cry and cry and scream.

You turn towards Wanda.

"Wanda please. Help me. Please."

"A tear rolls down her face, I'm sorry."

You continued to scream and cry, you scream so loudly that Steve puts his hand over your mouth. Out of spite, you bite him. He looks at Wanda.

"Wanda I would never ask you to do this but I can't hold her no more. Please."

"Steve, are you sure?"

"Yes"

You couldn't hear anything of what they were saying, your screaming was too loud and distracting. You were oblivious to their conversation. Wanda comes behind you and uses her powers to put your mind to sleep. Your lifeless body sinks through Steve's arms as you slip to the floor, asleep.

"Wanda watch her please. I'll go look for him."

"I'm coming with." Sam follows Steve out the door.

Wanda lays you on the table of the booth you guys were sitting at, watching you lay there lifelessly.

"I'm sorry Y/N, they'll find him."
