"Sweetie,don't you have anything else to do?"She asks me sweetly.
"Not really."I say.
"I'll be gone tonight so I bet you will find something to do."She smiles and I leave the kitchen and go outside.
I was laying on the grass and scrolling through my phone.
"What are you doing?"I hear Marcus ask and sit on the grass next to me.
"I'm bored."I tell him.
"We never really had a date."He says.
"Yeah."
"Wanna go out on one?"He asks me.
"I'd love to."I smile and he kisses me.
"I'll see you at 5 p.m."He says and stands up.
I didn't even know where we were going.I had two more hours till the date so I quickly picked out an outfit.I chose black mom jeans,a white crop top and my white sneakers,comfy and fancy.I didn't add too much makeup,besides some mascara and lipgloss.
Time to go.I walk outside and he was standing there with flowers in his hand.
"Aw,Marcus Baker is a romantic."I laugh and take the flowers.
"You look beautiful."He says and kisses me.
"I forgot my phone."I say and he laughs.I walk inside and leave the flowers on the desk and quickly grab my phone.
"Ready?"He smiles.
"Yes,where are we going?"I ask him.
"We'll go watch a movie and then we'll spend the rest of the evening home since my mom is away."He says and we interlock our fingers.
We arrived at the cinema and bought the tickets when I heard familiar voices.
"Hey,Blair."Hunter says.
"Um,hey."I say awkwardly.
"Why are you and Marcus here?"Ginny asks annoyed.
"Oh,me and Marcus are dating,you didn't know.It's our first date."I say and Marcus puts his arm around me.
"Oh,it's ours too."Ginny says and kisses Hunter which was really awkward and she was trying too hard.
"Okay,then.We'll get going."Marcus says.
"Oh,no.We can all hang out together."Ginny adds.
"Okay.."I sigh.
For the rest of the evening I noticed Ginny throwing compliments at Matcus,which was really weird.It was like she was trying to ruin our date and she definitely did.
"Blair and I will get home now."Marcus says and we wave goodbye at them.
"It was so fun to spend time with you,Marcus."She says and after a long puse she continues. "And you,Blair."
~~~ "Ginny was acting really weird today."I tell Marcus as soon as we get home.
"She was."Marcus says and I put the flowers in a vase.
"I want to make brownies."I laugh.
"Okay."He smiles.
We end up making the brownies,but we were all covered in flour and cocoa powder.
