Butterfly Effect: "the sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state."
Quantum Jumping: "the abrupt transition of a quantum system from one quantum state to another, from one energy level to another."

{ butterfly effect. }
A common occurrence, the Butterfly Effect is the concept of cause and effect at a much grander scale. In chaos theory, it's explained as an action rippling into one greater reaction, which leaves an imprint on the future.
It's what led you, the reader, to this very moment. Had you taken a different perspective, you wouldn't have encountered this entry. Had you not found interest in the supernatural, you wouldn't have found this book. Had your past never happened, your future could be different beyond comprehension. But that reality still exists somewhere in the multiverse.
{ quantum jumping. }
Quantum Jumping bears comparison to the Law Of Attraction as a manifestation technique. It achieves our "what if" inquiries through the process of altering consciousness. Though instead of attracting abundance, it attracts a Desired Reality (DR).
This does not equate to astral projection, though the two tend to overlap. The soul acts as an infinite source, and the body its vessel for movement and thought. Through astral projection, the soul roams untethered within bounds of our current reality. In Quantum Jumping, the soul extends its energy to a separate host in a parallel timeline.
This often takes place while in a meditative or comatose state preceded by a series of exercises. Some few extraordinary cases exist in which an individual doesn't need practice though! Some have experienced Quantum Jumping while going about their day. An even smaller percentage recounts transitioning to their DR under discomfort or stress.
Dependent on the conditions and mindset, experiences may differ as such:
• Those who are open-minded and creative tend to view the multiverse as a realm of possibility. They usually have a balanced experience in their DR.
• Those who are optimistic often experience a DR reflecting positivity.
• Those who are pessimistic may have a turbulent experience in their DR.
With this information, it's shown that subconscious beliefs play a part in experiences. It's only safe to assume a person who believes in the supernatural could have conflict with their DR. In the worst case scenario, they may be unable to discern reality from their chosen universe. Even if Creepypasta entities intervene in the alternate universe. It could reflect current events and faces in their present reality—even parties, dates, outings...
Until the two would become indistinguishable.

Upon discovering this method, I tried (so far) unsuccessfully in experiencing it myself. I felt the common symptoms of dizziness and increased heart-rate. At odd intervals, I heard unintelligible whispers. Everything aligned with other testimonies. It was too real of a feeling to deny.
If every experiencer told the truth—as doubtful as that is—Quantum Jumping would explain a lot. It'd add context to the supernatural, but also to a majority of the Slender Sickness symptoms. But this theory doesn't inherently prove anything either, in truth.
