Lodge Lodge

This is a part two or my most recent One-shot- road trip, and will be following on from when the gang arrive at Lodge Lodge at shadow Lake. 

Cheryl POV  

we set back off from the service station, it was already dark and i was exhausted.  Toni had her head rested on my shoulder, and i was snuggled up to her.  I couldn't stop thinking about the fact that Toni's whole family died and that she had a little brother, but i had to move on and make the most of this getaway with all my best friends and my girlfriend. 

We were driving into shadow Lake county, about 25 minutes away from the lodge, when the car hits a pothole and Toni falls into my lap. I scoop up her head and realised she has fallen asleep, on my shoulder. My heart melts and i look at her peaceful face. I gentilly lay her head back onto my lap and wonder why suddenly she could fall asleep in a car, without any warning just after she told me about her extremely traumatic experiences in cars.

"Cheryl, Toni, Kevin, fangs get all of your stuff together we are nearly here," i hear betty say whilst a little yawn escapes her mouth,

"Umm... slight problem," i reply quietly, trying not to wake Toni,

"What Cheryl," i hear betty say, turning around and poking her head around her seat,

"Awww," she whispers, at the sight of Toni fast asleep on my lap.

"What is it betty," jughead askes keeping his eyes fixed to the empty street,

"Quickly look Juggie," betty says, as jughead quickly spins his head around and looks in shock at the sight of Toni fast asleep,

"Wow, that's a firsts," he say 

"What why Jug," betty askes,

"Toni never sleeps in cars, never has done," He shrugged turning back around.

"Huh, wired, maybe it you Cheryl," betty says mindlessly, but as those words slip out her mouth i couldn't help wonder if they were true.

About 5 minutes later the car comes to a halt, and the neon are headlights are switch off and a cold breeze brushes my hot cheeks as jughead opens his car door and jumps out stretching in the process. 

"Hey betty," i whisper getting Bettys attention as she hops out the car,

"Yeah," she reply's Turing around,

"Can you grab the door my hands are full," i say signalling to Toni peacefully asleep,

"Oh , yeah sure," she answers opening the door and then joining veronica heading towards the front door,

After she opens the door i carefully and slowly scoop Toni up off my lap and cradle her in my arms. As i shuffled my way off my seat and out the door, closing it with my foot, then proceeding to walk down the driveway carrying Toni bridal style through the front door and heading toward the living room, where everyone else had sat down after the dumped there bags at the bottom of the stairs.

"Cheryl come sit down," Kev says patting the open space on the couch next to him. so i make my way over and sit down resting Toni down back on my lap and laying a blanket over her from the back of the couch. Then Veronica walks in followed by Archie holding glasses of cocktails, proceeding to hand them out to everyone,

"Cheryl, ill just leave Toni's here," she says quietly placing the drink on the side table.

Everyone was just chatting and Gradually drinking more and more alcohol, when veronica has the idea to play charades, so of course Kev jumps up and starts acting out his character, when everyone starts to shout out answers,
