Ochako Uraraka
"Ooh! A secret location!" Ochako exclaimed as we took our seats on the bus, Ochako and myself sitting next to each other. Mr. Aizawa had recently told the class that, before we boarded the bus, he said something else as well, but I could not hear him. "I'm super excited, (Y/N)! It will be like our first sleepover!" I laughed a bit at Ochako's statement.
"You're right. We haven't had a sleepover, not when we were just friends either..." I started with a good volume, but I began to mumble the closer I got to the end of my statement. Ochako gave me a short smile before turning to look out the window. I sat in silence and played on my phone.
Before long, we had arrived at our location for the summer training camp. I was one of the first students who left the bus. I was also the first to realize I had no idea where we were. Two heroes in what I think we're catsuits told us something, but by the time they were finished everyone had ran into the woods.
"Let's go! We have to make it to the training camp before lunch!" Ochako yelled as I nodded, opening a portal and leaping inside of it, only to open another portal and be faced with a giant beast made of earth. "AH!" I yelled as I quickly created another portal as I fell and made another portal behind the creature. "WHAT IS THAT?!?" I screamed as Ochako laughed.
"I guess you zoomed out, huh? They're Pixie-Bobs creations, made from dirt. We can do this!" Ochako yelled encouragement as I screamed, dodging earth creatures and creating portals at a second's notice. I opened a portal to escape an earth creature and ended up creating a portal on top of another earth creature.
When Ochako and I reached the training camp area, I was bleeding and Ochako looked like she was about to throw up. Our classmates were in the same shape as us.
"Congrats! Here, eat up, it's your first day, so gain some strength!" Pixie-Bob exclaimed as Ochako and I sat down at a picnic table. I could barely hold my head up as I ate. "(L/N), here let me patch you up," Mandalay told me and I got up and walked over to her.
As she wrapped a bandage around my head, we began to talk. "You're quirk is extremely practical, (L/N). I heard about your quirk malfunction though, I'm sorry you were trapped within your own quirk." I listened to every word Mandalay told me. When I was younger, I used to play dress up with my parents, I always picked to dress as Mandalay.
Well, until the accident.
"Thank you so much," I said to Mandalay and she gave me a soft smile. "If you ever need an internship, please let me know," Mandalay said calmly and walked away.
I sat back down next to Ochako and she realized I was frozen. "Um, babe?" She asked me, waving a hand in front of my face. "Ma-Mandalay offered to give me, me, an internship. Ochako, how?" I said dead seriously and Ochako wrapped an arm around me. "Congrats, (Y/N)! Your childhood hero is going to give you an internship!"
