Ochako Uraraka:
"How are they?" Ochako was here again. I think this is my third day at the clinic? This has to be the fifth visit today, but I'm not complaining. It gets lonely here. Everyone visited me the first day, even Bakugou. The second, it was only my friends. Today, it was Ochako. Only Ochako.
"Still recovering. I believe two more days and they can leave," Recovery Girl said from somewhere else in the clinic. I couldn't help, but smile a bit. I could leave, walk around, train more. Maybe Ochako and I could grab some boba!
"Hey, (Y/N). How are you today?" Ochako asked me as she pulled up a chair beside my bed. I turned my head towards her so that I could show her that I was smiling.
"Better today and a lot better now that you're here," I said, giving her a weak smile. She laughed, gosh, it's nice to hear her laugh. I missed it so much. "How were classes today?" I asked her. She gave me a cheerful smile. "A lot more dull since you left." I wish it was a choice. I wish I would have been in control of my quirk. I would still feel confident in my abilities if that mishap had never happened.
"You know, overthinking won't help," Ochako said after we had a calm moment with no speaking. My smile dropped and Ochako gave me one of her closed eyed smiles. "I know... There's nothing I can really do besides that though."
"You'll overcome this, I know you will."
"How?"
Ochako looked me dead in the eye before she spoke. "You were left with nothing, but an apartment and a few recordings before your parents left. You got into the school of your dreams while getting a job in middle school. You continue to work while still training for your future."
I was trying not to fall for her any more as she told me all of this. The bubbly, somewhat clumsy, Ochako, was basically telling me to pull myself together. Once she was done, I gave her a thankful smile.
"This would have been a lot harder without you here."
"If I wasn't here you would still be in that portal."
"Hey!"
