The next day
"Ok, so Aunt Jen is eliminated from the suspect list. Then who could it be?" Caroline wondered while gathering supplies.
Suddenly an idea popped in her mind.
Caroline ran over to Ryan dramatically and shouted "I have an idea to solve the mystery! I could stay over at the supply shed today and peek around the whole place and try to spot someone wandering around!"
"But, you need mother's permission." Ryan reminded.
That night at dinner Caroline asked her mom "Mother, can I go to the military factory after supper and stay there all night to hunt for the ruiner?"
Mother thought for a moment then nodded her approval. "Alright."
"Yippee!" Caroline cheered.
"But" mother continued "only, and only if, you bring Ryan with you."
Caroline grumbled but nodded.
That night she and Ryan stayed at the place for the whole night.
