The doctor had news and by the look of his face I held Carlos hand as we followed the doctor to his office
"During Rosa's surgery unfortunately she had bleed out in the brain due to the stroke ..."
I looked at Carlos to see his eyes where glossy he got up and headed out of the room and then out do the hospital
"Carlos wait .."
When we got out of the hospital he sat on the sidewalk and I followed he started crying and I pulled him into a hug and we kinds just sat like that for sometime
"Why don't we go home .. it's getting late and you'll be more comfortable.."
He shook his head and I grabbed the keys from him and got in the drivers seat it was a long silent car ride we got to his place and he went in and went up to bed
I went into the kitchen and made him some hot chocolate it was his favorite when he was sad
I came upstairs to see him in bed with a few tears rolling down his face
"Hey .." I said sitting in the end of the bed
"I made you hot chocolate ."
"Thanks .." he said grabbing it from my hands
"Is there anything I can do ..?"
"Can you just lay here with me ..please ?"
"Of course baby ..." I say coming to the top of the bed and and getting under the covers putting my arm around him
