Prom made you just a little nervous. You hadn't met any other Princesses, or anyone they'd consider as their plus one. You knew their names, but you hadn't met them. Well, obviously who She-Ra was...
You cleared your throat, looking at the room you helped decorate for Princess Prom. You hoped things went well, because making a good impression on her friends was always a positive step forward. People had begun showing up, and they all look so pretty.
Glimmer laid a hand on your shoulder. "Hey, are you okay? I could take you to meet Adora and Catra, that could calm you down. Maybe?"
"Glimmer, that's just it. What if I mess up when I meet literally any of your friends?" You turned to the Queen, in slight concern.
"Listen, Y/N..." She began, then tilting her head at you, and brushing some hair behind your ear. "Everyone will love you. You just need to talk to them, they're people with unique stories just like us."
You nodded at Glimmer, and took her hand. Her skin was smooth and soft; you gently squeezed her hand and she teleported you directly to a couple. You stood before a blonde and a magicat whose eyes were mismatched. You yelped, still not being used to the teleports, just as the magicat squeaked in response.
"Can you stop for one night, Sparkles?!" The magicat groaned, crossing her arms, then glancing at you. "Who's the one in the dress that's almost as glittery as you?"
The blonde nudged her, "What Catra is trying to ask is, who's your plus-one?"
Your cheeks flushed and Glimmer gestured to you. "This is Y/N, my partner who I told you about."
She did what?
"And Y/N, these two are Adora and Catra!" Glimmer smiled at you, who looked very confused. Is Adora, the legendary warrior-princess everyone heard about? She looked far too familiar. "She's also She-Ra?"
Within seconds, you went from confusion to shock. She's... She-Ra? She looks like a normal girl, but you also remembered what Glimmer told you, just before bringing you to meet the ladies.
Everyone is a normal person underneath the magical ability and leading their own respective kingdoms. Well, Adora being an exception on the whole leading part.
"It's, uh, nice to meet you. Thanks for everything you did... back then." You said to the couple, in quite an awkward manner.
