You were reminiscing about all that happened, from Prom to Micah... It was pretty funny to you, though. You then laid on your side, exhaling at you faced Glimmer. It was late and you hadn't been able to sleep. You rested your chin on her shoulder.
Glimmer smells like cupcakes and cherries. You intertwined your fingers with hers, feeling her soft skin against yours. She'd curled up near you, and she was finally getting the sleep she deserved. The Queen didn't get much sleep at all, and it made you worry for her health.
"You deserve this rest." You whispered calmly. Glimmer let out a calm breath and with your other hand you felt her mid-length, sparkling hair. It was soft, and you ran your fingers through it for a few minutes.
The next thing you knew, you awoke to the sunrise. Yawning, you looked around to find your arms around her waist as she sat upright. "Took you long enough. How late did you stay up last night?"
"Well..." You started, but Glimmer shushed you before you could formulate a sentence. You quirked a brow, and sat up, to face her. She pulled you nose-to-nose and pressed her forehead against yours. You moved your hands to start rubbing the center of her back. You felt like she wanted to talk about something, so you asked her.
Glimmer nodded, and cupped her hand over your cheek. Her touch was so gentle... you smiled at her as she gently held you. She was warm, and her tender touch was so soothing to you.
"Y/N, I want to marry you." She told you in a whisper. Your eyes widened. Oh!
