"So how was math class Danny" Sam asked modestly. Danny jumped a bit and whipped his head around to look straight into the deep indigo eyes of his girlfriend. She was smiling gently, her eyes were sparkling slightly. Danny could tell right away that she wasn't really interested in the 'exciting details' of his hour in math as much as she just wanted to talk to him, hear his voice after a long, tiring, attention filled day, at Casper high. It was a gorgeous day, the sun was out, the bird were chirping, and the musky smell of newly thawed grass waft up his noes. Him (Danny), Sam, and Tucker were strolling lazily home after another over enthusiastic day at school. It was a relief to be able to hang out with his best friend and girlfriend, even if it was momentary, in the hectic chaos that had consumed his life so quickly. Danny laced his fingers with Sam's silently chuckling as he took note of her reaction. Danny had become incredibly vigilant toward Sam ever since the events of a few months ago and it still surprised him that he hadn't noticed this stuff about Sam before. When she was surprised she stood erect and her eyes grew wide. Her short black ponytail bobbed inattentively as the short strands that caressed her face tickled her cheeks. Danny had never noticed these things before now and he hadn't any idea what we was missing until now.
"Oh, it was soooo relaxing!" Danny joked. "Nothing like being crowded by popular kids who didn't even know you existed a few months ago, just trying to 'get to know' the famous Danny phantom." Danny finished with a quirky grin. Sam gripped his hand a bit harder as they both suppressed their laughters as Tucker couldn't help himself, but be the comedic relief he was so good at being at times.
"Hey, at least they don't call you Inviso-bill anymore I mean who the heck even thought that name was even remotely close to what you were named at that point in time." Tucker finished with a matter of factly tone.
"I wasn't necessarily a 'good guy' in the eyes of the public at the time Tucker I don't think they even really cared." Danny remarked with a slight chuckle. Tucker just shrugged his shoulder half-mindlessly, pulled out his PDA and started typing away at the buttons. Each key made a distinct beeping sound.
"Yea, that is true Danny, but it's not everyday that someone turns the entire earth intangible, and essentially saved the entire human race from mass destruction." Sam pipped up, trying to get Danny to smile again. It's like she couldn't get enough of his smile. Every detail, every smirk, every moment she spent with him, was like a dream she didn't want to wake up from, and was happy she didn't have to. Danny gave a seductive side glance at Sam and his romanticized smile made Sam's knees feel like jello underneath her.
"It's also not everyday you crowd 15 plus people around a two person table, while every girl in the room tries to get a piece of the action, while every other guy wants to befriend the poor phantom trying to do his algebra" Danny finished as he held out his math binder, that was completely covered in lipstick lip marks that were poorly rubbed away.
"Don't they know we are dating Danny" Sam asked her head cocked to the side as she slid her free hand into the grasp of Danny's other.
" I don't think they care," Danny retorted with a slightly irritated scowl on his face.
"Did you tell them you were taken," Sam asked with a seductive purr. Her eye brows burrowed toward her eye lids giving her eyes a mischievous look that Sam knew Danny couldn't resist.
Danny let go of Sam's hand and wrapped the appendage around Sam's waste drawing here close.
"Every day of the week, of every month of every year." Danny churred as he drew Sam in for a kiss. As their lips contacted each other Danny slipped a hand on Sam's cheek under her hair line while the other remained wrapped possessively around her torso. Sam loved being in contact with Danny. Every hand hold, every hug, every brush of skin sent tingles threw her body strengthening the connection she felt towards Danny. She had always had a crush on the half ghost, but the new sensations filling her body were ten times stronger and more defined. After a few moments of making out on the sidewalk, The two broke apart panting slightly, as they both tried to catch their breaths. Danny reclaimed Sam's hand with a smooth motion and his face flushed dark pink, which Sam wasn't gonna lie was extremely adorable. The couple jumped out of their skins as a loud shout from down the street brought them both back to reality.
" it's ok for you to be lovey around me! But if you wanna make out please inform the best friend first!" Tucker was at the end of the street a hundred meters ahead of then. He winked an eye at the couple before removing
his beret and waving at Danny and Sam before turning the corner out of sight. Sam looked at Danny and then Danny at Sam. It was silent, that was until the couple burst out laughing. " race ya!" Sam blurted out as she started sprinting down the sidewalk with Danny fast at her heels. Their laughter was heard from blocks away as the two raced around the block trying to catch up to their friend in arms.
