I sat on the edge of the jacuzzi tub in the room's bathroom, biting my nail as I stared blankly at the floor. Liam's words were wreaking havoc in my head, distracting me from the grand opening party I was supposed to be getting ready for.
Miles' knock at the door brought me back to the present. "We have to head out in twenty, love. You need any help?"
I sighed, grimacing and forcing myself to stand. "I got it, thank you though. I'll be out soon."
I slid the red silk dress on, maneuvering around to zip it up. With a cinched waist and slight flare to accentuate my hips, I smirked in the mirror, feeling powerful despite my clouded mind.
Finishing my makeup off with a deep red lip, I stepped out of the bathroom to see Miles leaning against the large hotel window, a glass of bourbon in his hand.
"Absolutely not."
His eyes darkened, setting his glass forgotten on the desk in the corner before he strode over to me. Settling his hands on my hips, he pulled me to him, his hardening cock pressing into my stomach.
"Ava, you wear this dress tonight and the farthest we'll get from this room is that balcony behind me. I'll bend you over that railing and fuck you without a god damn care that all of New York City can see."
"Oh yeah?" I smiled innocently, reaching up to press my lips softly against his. "Well, I'm wearing it. Do your worst."
He growled, jerking me to him and kissing me hard. Gliding over to the balcony door, he kicked it open and spun, maneuvering me to quickly bend me over the railing's edge as promised.
Ducking under the skirt of my dress, Miles ripped my thong off, tossing the remnants behind him and quickly swiping his tongue through my folds. I screamed, gripping the metal in front of me as he stood and jerked his slacks open, pressing into me.
"Fuck!" I bit my lip, moaning loudly as he buried himself to the hilt over and over again. His hands gripped my hips to pull me back, meeting him on each thrust.
I let go of the rail to finger my clit, circling the bud and driving myself higher, faster, as Miles fucked me harder.
"Fuck yes, baby. Come on." He groaned behind me, breathing rough as I felt myself tightening around him in impending release.
A loud knock on the door forced me to realize Liam was just on the other side, ready to head down and absolutely able to hear us. I screamed out my orgasm before I could catch myself, bracing against the railing for support as Miles followed closely behind, spilling himself inside of me.
I gasped as he pulled out a minute later, my core clenching as Liam pounded on the door with a growl, my body reheating and needing at least one more round. Frowning down at my ruined lace underwear on the patio ground, I giggled as Miles' lips danced on my neck.
"Ready?"
"One sec. I have to touch up my makeup."
"Not put on new underwear?"
"Hm? Oh no. I'm hoping the knowledge that I have none on will make you wisp me away later and fuck me in the bathroom or closet."
His eyes flared with another surge of heat and I grinned mischievously at him before closing the bathroom door and doing a quick touch up.
"Okay, I'm-" I halted in my tracks, Miles and Liam leaning against the balcony railing I'd just been bent over, bourbons in their hands. Liam's head snapped in my direction, narrowed eyes taking in the sight of me as he lifted his glass to his lips, taking a slow swig. My lips parted, my tongue peaking over my lip in jealousy of the amber liquid rolling past his lips.
Miles downed the remaining contents in his cup, clearing his throat and smirking at me before the two men made their way over, their eyes locked on me. Liam blinked furiously, shaking his head as his gaze dropped to his halting feet, Miles grabbing my hip and leaning down to bite my neck.
I squealed, laughing as I pushed him off before heading towards the door and leading the way down to the lobby.
Conversations were thriving, drinks and food flowing. A plethora of excited 'congratulations' were thrown my way, the pride in my chest welling up at the incredible support of my new staff, business associates, and friends.
"I told you you could do it." A familiar scratchy voice appeared behind me and had me spinning on my heel.
I gasped, uncharacteristically and unprofessionally throwing my arms around the old man in front of me. "Mr. Hills!"
He chuckled, returning the hug. "I'm so proud of you, Avery."
My breath hitched in my throat at his fatherly praise and I couldn't help but smile. Miles and Liam gave us some space to catch up, though I felt their eyes on me from a distance.
"Ava!" Bailey and Jenna yelled a while later, bounding over with mischievous grins on their faces.
I narrowed my eyes. "What?"
"Are the hotties here off limits to us since most are your employees?" Jenna questioned, Bailey feigning innocence at her side.
Miles' arms snaked around me, a low chuckle emanating from him. "Are coworkers supposed to be off limits to the friends?" He nipped my neck. "Oops."
I shook my head and laughed, leaning back into his chest.
"Ew, you guys are adorable. Gag me." Bailey groaned, looping her arm through Jenna's and heading over to the closest group of men.
Miles' phone rang and he bit off a curse, searching the area around us.
"I'll go over with the girls. Liam's around somewhere. I'm safe."
He frowned, but nodded before walking to a quieter area to answer the call.
I took a step towards my friends before an obnoxious laugh caught my attention. A woman standing up against Liam had thrown her head back laughing, but his eyes didn't harbor the same smile that his lips had plastered on.
In the next breath, I found myself at his side, my hand possessively on his chest. The other woman took a step back and immediately apologized, embarrassed as she scurried away.
I blinked rapidly, lifting my chin to see Liam staring down at me, his bright eyes straying from my own and dropping to my lips.
"Liam..." I whispered softly, a battle raging on his face as he stared down at me.
Footsteps stopped behind us had his eyes lifting and jaw clenching tight, his arm quickly wrapping around my waist and pushing me behind him.
"Miles-"
Miles' eyes were dark, slowly taking in the sight before him. He nodded towards the entrance, his hands in his pockets.
"We're going home."
Liam stepped forward, shielding me entirely from view though I wasn't afraid of the man in front of us.
"Miles, don't-"
"Hawk. Ava. We're leaving. Now."
I shuddered, though not in fear but curiosity. Miles' face wasn't angry. On the contrary, it was serene with a hint of excitement in his eyes.
The four hour ride home had me riding an edge I didn't know that I could stand much longer, Miles' hand high on my thigh as Liam drove to the house, complete silence filling the car the whole way.
Miles' jaw clenched as we got out and watched Liam slowly drive away.
Goosebumps rose on my skin as I waited for him to clear the house, striding back over to me with a look in his eyes I hadn't seen before as he gestured for me to step inside.
Oh god... Now he looks fucking pissed.
