"Wanna go tag something?" Danny suggested.
Laurie and Danny had been hanging out in an abandoned cabin that they hadn't fixed up quite yet. They didn't care about the dust or bugs but it was on the edge of town and hidden in the trees. They had been good friends for a few months now, having met each other in the first-period class they shared at their local high school.
She looked at him curiously, "What did you have in mind?"
He checked his bag, "I would say the skate-park but it seems there's already a lotta shit there. What about... The cemetery?"
"My grandad's buried there," she sounded bored with it.
"The alleys?"
"Too mainstream.."
"Okay, fine, what about we go tag up the public pool after dark?"
She grinned, "Hell yeah, I'm in!! We'll have to wait though, what should we do while we wait?"
"Wanna clean this place up a bit?"
She pursed her lips and nodded, "good idea."
They got to work, dusting off everything they could with what little supplies they had, eventually they decided to go to the corner store and get some cleaning things, coming back with a dustpan and broom, a mop, a few buckets, and a good amount of other cleaning things. They worked together, wiping and scrubbing counters clean of grime, cleaning up the windows, grinning every time they passed each other, and working as a team. They moved out all the old and rotting furniture, opting instead to leave a few cushions so they could sit comfortably. After they cleaned virtually everything, there was still a good amount of work to do, floorboards needed replacing, the ceiling was falling apart, they hadn't even realized there was an attic! Laurie sat down on a cushion in the living room, "I'm tired.." She grumbled.
"Well, we did clean quite a lot... Of everything..."
"Yeah, maybe we should just head home or something, instead of tagging anything. I didn't realize how much work had to be put into cleaning up.
He sat down next to her, "Why should we head back to our houses? Can't we stay here a little longer..?"
The dirty blonde grinned, "What are you gettin' at, Ghosty?" A nickname she'd given him after he pranked her with a ghost face mask.
He leaned a bit closer to her, making a move. "Well, it's boring at home and I don't wanna get up!"
"Ohh, Dannnyyy, are you making moves on me?" She feigned surprise at him, saying his name like she was scolding him.
He blushed slightly and leaned away, averting his eyes toward the ceiling, trying his best to brush it off.
"Well. Good." She went on, "cause if you were then I wouldn't have a chance to make a move on you!~"

When he looked over she leaned up, giving him a small kiss on the cheek. He blushed but grinned, "Laurie Strode!" It was his turn to scold as her cheeks turned pink and she snickered, "Did you just kiss me! I think... I think that means we have to go to the school dance in two weeks, together! You and me!"
"Alright, fine!" She playfully argued back, "Maybe we will!"
He leaned down a bit more a stole a kiss off her cheek, playfully, to which she grinned nervously. Completely lovestruck at his advances. "I think this means we're dating then!"
"I think it does!"
"Fine!"
"Fine!!"
They paused to stare at each other for a long moment before bursting out into laughter, neither one able to contain their giddiness. They were comfortable with each other, the room was always brighter when they were with each other. Maybe they'd hold hands, maybe they'd actually kiss. And maybe- just maybe- They'd grow up together and buy the land that the old cabin resided in, repairing it into a gorgeous house and living there, walled off from the world in their personal forest.
