He cried out as his chainsaw revved and screamed, he watched that filthy rodent get away from him, his family would not be happy that he let her get away. He was so close to catching her, if only that truck didn't exist in the location at that point in time he would've been fine. He stopped his chainsaw and threw it away from him in a fit of rage as the girl screamed, it was almost like what had happened when he escaped that horrible institution, he vowed that it would never happen again. He wanted so badly to have caught the prat that he looked at the trees around him and stood in the road for a moment before trudging over and sitting in the shade at one of their trunks'. He pulled his knees close to his chest and looked at the blood on his hands, his brothers would not be happy about this, it drizzled down his wrists and forearms, drying on its' way down. He pursed his lips to the side and sighed, he just wanted to be there all day, to not have his family barge in on him and his thoughts.
He sat there, alone, for hours. He waited for nothing, constantly crying on and off for those lonely hours, dreaming that he'd be ok. In reality, he was too mentally strained to point in the direction of his home. He cried harder every time he thought about this, he was crying so hard he couldn't hear his name being called. Not the first nor second time. Until it was louder, closer, clearer, he perked up and looked around. Who could be calling him? Hopefully, it wasn't a cop or anything. He smiled as his brother, Nubbins, came into view. He smiled slightly and relief washed over him but only sickness followed, his stomach churned at the thought of getting yelled at for letting the girl get away. He let tears roll down his chubby cheeks underneath his mask which stuck to his face where he was sweating. The poor boy didn't even think to take it off at any point.
He feared what would happen to him when he got home, would he get shouted at, beat, punished? He was terrified of the worst because his mind refused to think of the slight chance that no one would be mad at him.
Nubbins spotted him and ran over, he said some things while running and grabbed Bubba in a huge hug. "I'm so glad you're ok, " he cried out before turning around, "ayyyyy!! I found him!! He's over here!!"
Soon his whole family surrounded him and comforted him with soft words of relief and joy.
He felt safe.
