Steve Harrington came from a rich family of greasers, 'The Hair of Hawkins High' is what he often called himself. He loved the fact he was the most stylish among his peers. That is until.
"Who is... That?" Tommy lowered his shades and raised an eyebrow, this made his girlfriend, a soc from the south-side, swat at him.
Steve looked over, his eyes quickly widened, he couldn't help but stare. "She must be new..."
A girl wearing black leggings, leather adorning the sides, and zippers on her pockets, a white undershirt with a dark-brown set of overalls on top with a black leather jacket, the collar pulled outward. Her hair pulled into a tight ponytail, a portion of it sticking out from on top of a black bandanna, a skull on the front with red hearts adorning the rest of it. Her hair was light but there was a perfect streak of black, indicating she was not one to be messed with. She approached the table Steve was sitting at, confidence in her stride. She had a familiar voice and accent but a pair of classy shades hid her eyes.
"Look, Harrington," she pulled said shades from her face and stared him down, this was quite the morning introduction. "I will see you at 8 o'clock, tonight, at the Downtown Kettle Jaunt Theater. Got it? You'll find me in a blue mustang in the last row at the back, passenger side will be unlocked."
She grabbed his collar with her free hand before he could even say anything, his eyes widening as she got closer- "And you better show. Got it?"
He nodded profusely, intimidated by this gorgeous stranger until she let go and stood straight. His heart melted at her eyeliner, dark makeup adorning each side of her thin, yet firm, eyes. His heart instantly melted, the physical approach, the confidence, the style, the aggression..! He couldn't believe his eyes that such a pretty girl would talk to him but then again, he was Steve Harrington.
Tommy stared in disbelief, "That was amazing..."
"You're tellin' me..." He lowered his chin into his hand as he watched her walk away. He quickly cleared his throat, "I didn' think anyone could push me 'round like that! I literally couldn't do anything against 'er!"
His douche-friend snorted and Steve knew he'd be jeered at for that all day.

8 pm.
Steve kept his word about showing up even if he didn't have a say in it, the movie started at 8:30 so he had time. He spotted the blue mustang in the back row, a perfect spot. He went over, casually peering in for a moment, circling it to confirm but he went over and got in once he knew it was the right one.
"Harrington!" The familiar voice greeted him but it sounded less confident than earlier, "I really hoped you'd show up."
"Why wouldn't I after an entrance like that?"
She grinned slightly at his naturally goofy smile before reaching over with her non-dominate hand, "Yui Kimura, I sit behind you in English. And History. And math."
He blushed a bit, shaking her hand firmly but he held eye contact before letting go, "Jeez, you do? How come I've never noticed you?"
"I finally sucked it up," she shrugged. "I decided the best way to your heart wasn't through love-letters or sappy poems, it'd be through confidence and force."
"But you're so quiet, how did you-"
"I'm not," she laughed, cutting him off. "I've always loved going fast, this is my dad's car though, I have motorcycles instead."
He was more interested in her than in the actual movie, shocked that she'd change so much about how she appeared to others just for him. They talked the entire night, hardly paying mind to the movie but they did end up getting popcorn and soda together. He didn't want the night to end, he'd slipped and fallen but when he fell he often fell much harder than most people. Maybe it's the concussions, maybe it's Maybelline.
Maybe it's fate.

Maybe it's a match made in heaven.
