"Zarina!" Yun-Jin called. It was damn near freezing out yet the girl still managed to wear a skirt, which was blowing gently in the wind. She didn't seem to mind the cold one bit, which was crazy to Zarina because she was wearing a sweater, a jacket, and thick pants. "Zarrrinnnaaa!~" Yun-Jin chimed again before holding up a sack to her. It was made of braided leaves and fibers, held tightly together with twine.

Zarina smiled, "Yun-Jin... You didn't have to get me anything..!"

"Shut up and open it!" The shorter girl snapped impatiently before grinning, excited to see Zarina open it.

The taller of the two accepted the sack and opened it up, expecting nothing huge but getting four times what she expected. She stared at it quietly before grinning, "Yun-Jin!!"

The shorter squealed happily, "I know, I'm the best~ C'mon! Let's take a selfie with it!"

Zarina nodded several times and let the handmade sack fall. She held up the Polaroid camera and grinned, putting an arm around her best friend. They smiled brightly as the flash went off, capturing both of them in the moment.

For the rest of the week, the other survivors were bothered and bugged by Zarina's constant picture taking with Yun-Jin close behind like a lost puppy. Meg grinned brightly for each photo, Laurie ensured them all her sides were her good side, Nea covered her face with a scowl and her hands, Ash smiled with the other boys, Steve only grinned brightly, as usual, and Quentin decided not to get involved.

Eventually, there were photos of everyone. Sure, they'd never see the real world again and they'd never let anyone know what was truly happening in that realm, but no one cared. They all did their best to keep things peppy and eventually, Yun-Jin and Zarina had taken dozens of Polaroids, keeping them in little boxes. They even took pictures with the killers, of the killers, or against the killers' will. The two girls loved it. It was such a rush with each Snap! of the camera.

One day it was particularly cold and Zarina was huddling by the fire with her camera. Heather thought it was cute how cold Zarina got but Yun-Jin only felt bad. It was an odd feeling to suddenly have a thick and warm jacket hung over her shoulders and Zarina quickly looked up at her bestie.

Yun-Jin sat down next to her with a huff and Zarina tilted her head, "Jin... You're gonna get cold, take your jacket back.."

Yun-Jin simply shook her head, "I don't need it..."

Zarina frowned and thought for a moment before stretching her legs towards the fire and shifting. She put an arm around her friends' shoulders and brought the smaller girl close. She pulled the jacket out from behind her with her other hand and put it over Yun-Jin's lap with a soft smile.

"What're you doing..?" The Asian asked quietly, her voice hardly Audi able above the soft crackle of the fire.

"I'm making sure you don't freeze," the younger replied, rubbing Yun-Jins legs slightly to try and keep her warm.

In that moment, Yun-Jin Lee could feel her heart catch in her throat. She couldn't believe that such a simple act of kindness could make her move around and react the way she did. She blushed softly and put a hand to her own cheek, looking down at her lap and leaning a bit more against the younger girl.

Zarina chuckled softly and leaned back in return, listening to the quiet crackle of the campfire. It wasn't long until Zarina realized Yun-Jin had gone awful quiet and glanced down, her eyes widened slightly and she quickly grabbed her camera. She turned off the flash and held it up like a selfie, smiling and capturing them both. Yun-Jin was asleep, lips slightly parted and cheek pressed up against the girl's shoulder, it was an adorable sight to witness and one that Zarina would cherish.

Something ticked in her mind, a few facts about Yun-Jin coming and going. Yun-Jin has never fallen asleep on someone's shoulder like this, she'd never put herself in a vulnerable position, she would never give up her jacket for someone else's sake- and the question crossed Zarina's mind:

Did Yun-Jin get her the camera, not to celebrate Christmas, but to show she truly cared..?

The question made her heart tingle with joy and she smiled.

Yeah... She'd like to think so.
