The feeling of the bed was irritating. it felt as if fleas were infested the bed. Leah didn't get enough sleep. I felt tired and sore. I loud bell rang and the door to the cell opened. Danika stood in front of the door. "come on we got to go." Danika said. Leah rubbed her eyes and walked out the door. "How did you sleep." Danika asked. Leah's eyes could barely stay open. "great." Leah said sarcastically. Danika let out a small giggle. "You'll get used to it." Danika replied. Leah yawned. "They could have at least gave us a pillow." I complained. Danika stopped dead in her tracks. Danika had a shocked look on her face. "Did Zack just speak." Danika said. Leah looked confused. "that's impossible he can only talk when he takes control." Leah replied. did the just hear me. "I think I just learned how to do this." I said. Danika looked happy. She cracked a smile. "Oh my god he did." Danika said with joy. how is this happening. "we should probably start going before they get suspicious of us." I said. Leah followed Danika down the halls filled with cells. Danika took us to a cafeteria. everyone seemed depressed. there heads were down with hoods over their heads. They had bits of bread that they devoured in seconds. They were hungry, starving and in pain. I felt strong here. Leah felt scared. "Don't feel scared, you are stronger than you think." I said. Leah shook her head. "That's because I have you." Leah replied. She was half right. "Your the strongest person I've ever met, even before I became what I am now." I answered. Leah felt the boost of confidence. "Okay I'll try." Leah said. A tall boy stood in front of Leah. He held out his hand. "Hand over your food." He asked. Leah looked at the boy. "I didn't get any food." Leah responded. The boys hand was full of scars. He clenched his fist and sucker punched Leah in the stomach. Leah dropped to the ground. Leah rushed over to Leah. "hey what the hell is your problem." Danika said. The boy looked at Danika as if he was staring into Danika's soul. Danika helped Leah back on her feet. Danika took Leah to a table. Leah sat down. "what was his problem." Leah asked. Danika looked at the boy in fear. "nobody knows who he is." Danika said. Danika sighed. "they say that his whole body is full of scars from his parents and this place." Danika said. I know what he's going through but he shouldn't be acting like this. I was angry. He hurt Leah, and he deserves to be punished. "What's going on with your eye." Danika asked. Danika looked confused. "Why is one of them is green and the other is white." Danika said. Leah covered her eye and pulled Danika closer. "This was like this when Zack and I became one." Leah responded. Leah's eye began to shift through white and black. a rush of pain ran through Leah. "what the hell." Leah said. Leah tried to keep as quiet as possible. Leah's voice shifted from mine to hers. "he hurt you Leah, he must pay." I said with a dark echoed voice. "what is going on." Danika yelled. Leah was violently shaking her head. "this happens when Someone Hurts me." Leah responded with a sharp pain in her voice. "Zack listen to me, just stay calm and I'll tell you when you can take control." Leah said. but I didn't listen. "come on you protected me for so long now it's my turn to protect us." Leah said. The words that Leah said echoed through my head and calmed me down. Leah's eye stopped shifting color. "well I guess your right." I responded. Leah looked at Danika. "I think we're going to be okay." Leah said. Leah and Danika walked to their rooms and slept through the night.

Leah woke up in a dark room with a single light beaming down. A man with a red skull and black fire on his eyes. the mans body was covered in white smoke. "Who are you?" Leah asked. Leah's voice echoed through the room. The man stared at Leah. "you must leave this place or suffer." The man said. his voice sounded scratchy and sore. "why?" Leah asked. The man let out a giggle but it was deep and intimidating. "Chaos." He said. Leah woke up in sweat and tears. it was dark out. the moon was piercing through the cracks from the metal bars of the window. the moon was bright and beautiful. the moon shined on Leah's pale white eye. "who was that." Leah thought. Leah went back to sleep on her bed coated in sweat. the dream of the man traveled through her head like a bullet train. the mans face was stuck in her head. Leah struggled to sleep. "hey Zack you still up." Leah asked. Leah was still sweating. "What's wrong?" I asked. Leah wiped the sweat from her head. "you saw the dream I had right?" Leah asked.  I knew about the dream but I didn't know what it meant. "Yeah what about it." I said. Leah sighed. "who do you think that was." Leah asked. "I'm not sure." I responded. The gates to Leah's cell flung open. a man stood there with a robe with red stripes on the edges of the coat with white all over. I could barley see his face. "Wake up." He said. Leah was tired. her eyes could barely open. Leah rubbed her eyes. Leah got up from the bed and walked out the cell door.
