OUR HOPE

SAFE FROM THE MADNESS HERE

Klaus and Caroline were spending time with Hope, despite the sexual tension in the air, they both knew that there is nothing more important than their daughter's happiness. They decieded to spend an afternoon together because Caroline got paranoid when she read an article about how children whose parents are separated should spend time with them together in their early days so that there is no effect to their mental health in the future. Klaus, happy to spend some time with Caroline to revive their relationship, did not protest at all. 

The trio made their way to the local restaurant to have brunch and Caroline and Klaus discussed about the various topics, while Hope looked at her parents and cried from time to time when their attention was diverted from her. 

Klaus was walking along side Caroline with Hope in Caroline's arms, playing with her wooden knight. Klaus had just gifted her the knight that morning and Hope had not been able to let go of it the whole day. Caroline looks down at Hope and then says, "The knight is beautiful Klaus. When did you make it?" Klaus smiles at Hope and says, "One night, when we were still human, Rebekah was really scared of thunderstorms. I used to stay awake with her the whole night to make sure she slept peacefully. I made her this as a sign of comfort and that I will always be with her. It felt right that I gave it to Hope." Caroline looks at him lovingly, mesmerized by his words and says, "You are a wonderful father Klaus. I could have not asked for anyone better for a father for Hope." Klaus looks at her, getting slightly emotional and says, "Thank you love. The same goes for you sweetheart."

THE RESTAURENT

Klaus and Caroline sit down on the table and Caroline puts Hope on the high chair. Caroline looks at the crowd around them and says, "What is going on in New Orleans Klaus? Why is there no people?" Klaus sighs, eyes the crowd and says, "It's because of that serial killer sweetheart. The humans of New Orleans are scared to come out." Caroline then says, "Oh! The person who is silting mouths. I thought a detective was at case for this, Detective Benny?" Klaus looks at the waiter to get the menus and then corrects Caroline, "Detective Kenny." Caroline nods and takes the menu from the waiter, keeping half an eye on Hope when suddenly her phone starts ringing.

 She looks at Elena's contact and smiles. After her breakout at her mom's funeral towards Elena, Caroline was better in a few days and decieded to rekindle her relationship with everyone in Mystic Falls. Elena has been a little closed up but Damon surprisingly had been very supporting and helped Elena in seeing that Caroline was still her bestfriend and she should not be judged because of who she was dating. Caroline picks the phone up and says, "Hey Elena what's up?" Damon's voice comes, "Blondie this is Damon, we have a problem. We need you here, it is specifically related to you." Caroline frowns and says, "Of course, I will be right there soon. Bye Damon, I'll see you soon." 

Klaus who heard the entire conversation has a frown on his face. Caroline recognizes the look and says, "Klaus I-" when Klaus interrupts and says, "No sweetheart, you should go. At least you and Hope will be safe from the madness here." Caroline picks up Hope from the chair and kisses Klaus on the cheek and walks back to the apartment to pack their bags. 

A.N. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK DAMON HAS CALLED CAROLINE FOR? WELL I AM PRETTY SURE MOST OF YOU KNOW THE ANSWER ALREADY BUT I AM CHANGING THE SCRIPT A LITTLE BUT FROM THE SHOW.  HOPE YOU ALL LIKE IT, SORRY FOR THE SMALL CHAPTER, I HAVE EXAMS GOING ON AND I THOUGHT THAT IT WOULD NOT BE FAIR TO NOT POST A CHAPTER SO I WROTE THIS UP PRETTY FAST.
