PREPARING HOMECOMING

5 YEARS LATER

Caroline was watching over the dirty blonde hair girl as she was coloring and drawing. She certainly got that skill from her father. Caroline sighs as she looks at her life now, taking care of Hope, helping Alaric with the girls, finding a cure for the Mikaelsons, it was all part of her life now. Suddenly sounds of a vehicle coming up the driveway breaks Caroline out of her trance and Hope looks up and asks, "Is that her?"

 Caroline smiles and says, "Lemme check, okay? Stay inside." and starts walking out of her room and to the main door to see Katherine coming out of her car. Caroline walks to Katherine and hugs her and says, "I missed you Kat." 

Katherine smiles and says, "I missed you too Blondie, now get off, no PDA." in a teasing voice. From the other side Caroline sees Mary coming out of the car with a smile on her face. 

It was still a surprise to Caroline as to how are Mary and Katherine friends. Caroline says, "You sure you were not followed?" to Mary and Mary says, "Darling, I have been on the run long before since you were born. Now where is that sweet-" before Caroline interrupts her and says, "Did you find it?" 

Mary sighs and Caroline says, "Mary,  we are this close to getting them back, we found a witch to siphon Rebekah's hex, a cure for Freya's poison, the six werewolves packs, I just need that one more name, please." 

Mary sighs and says, "All  this because of what? A promise to Klaus? Have you ever thought  that girl would be better off without them?" Caroline sighs as Katherine starts going towards the house to meet Hope and to avoid another argument. Caroline says, "It is not a  promise to Klaus Mary, It is a promise to my daughter. They are her family, she needs them back." Mary finally gives in and gives her a piece of paper and explains her the details. 

HALF HOUR LATER

Caroline and Katherine are standing near the moving truck as Caroline is saying goodbye to Hope. Hope pouts and says, "Do you really have to go?" Caroline smiles and says, "I'll be back soon, and I won't be alone." in an exciting voice. 

She then says, "Don't trouble Mary okay?" Hope nods and Caroline bends down to her level, shows her first 2 fingers, kisses them, and Hope mimics the same action and the entwine their fingers. Caroline gets up and starts moving to the front seat with Mary and Katherine says bye to Hope. 

Mary says, "Stay safe okay, these folks back here have lived a thousand years but you have a daughter to come back too." Caroline nods and says, "Everything I do is for her." and hugs Mary goodbye. Katherine soon comes and joins Caroline in the truck and with a last look on the rear view mirror, they start their journey. 

4 HOURS LATER

Keelan was being strapped to the chair by Katherine while Caroline was making sure they had everything. Keelan struggles and says, "Why am I brought here?" Katherine sighs and says, "Listen Dr. Wolf, We just need your venom for a teeny tiny project, then you van go live your life. It will be easy for you if you cooperate." as she puts the venom obtaining machine on her face, and says, "Now this is going to hurt." 

Now that the both of them have all the ingredients required for the cure. Caroline pick up the bottle that had Freya's cure and takes it out in an injection. She walks over to Freya's coffin, opens it up and plunges the needle into Freya's chest. 

A second later, Freya gasps and sits up and Caroline exclaims, "Freya!" and hugs her. Freya sighs in relief as she hugs her back and says, "Do you have everything?" Caroline nods and Freya says, "Good, Kol and Elijah don't have much time." 

Freya has started on the spell while Caroline and Katherine are fighting of the vampires that had come outside. Caroline as just turned into a werewolf so she can kill more. Katherine was fighting two vampires when suddenly one is coming behind her and puts his hand in her chest, gripping her heart. 

Katherine gasps from pain when suddenly the vampires around her fall dead. Katherine exhales and in that time she caught a strong familiar scent. Katherine sighs in relief, turns around and sees Elijah. 

Katherine immediately goes to hug him, her hands gripping tightly around his neck. Elijah's hands go around her waist and he pulls her closer. They breaks the hug and Katherine moves closer to kiss him passionately on the lips. 

Their beautiful moment is suddenly broken by the voices of Kol, Rebekah and Caroline hugging and talking. Katherine smiles and says, "Welcome home Elijah." and Elijah says, "Thank you Katerina." 

A.N. SO I AM TRYING TO POST AS MUCH AS I CAN SO PLEASE DON'T MIND IF THE CHAPTERS ARE SMALL. I ABSOLUTELY HAD TO PUT THAT KALIJAH SCENE AT THE END BECAUSE WHAT BETTER WAY TO END THE CHAPTER. AND FOR THE CASE OF HOPE'S APPEAREANCE, DIRTY BLONDE HAIR AS SHOWN IN THIS PICTURE AND KLAUS'S BLUE GREEN EYES. THE HAIR WILL BE STRAIGHT THOUGH.  REST HOPE IS PRETTY SIMILAR TO THE SHOW, SHE INHERITS SOME OF HER CHARECTORSTICS TO  KLAUS, SO NOT BOLD AND MOSTLY SHY. BUT REST SHE IS ALL CAROLINE.
