OUR HOPE

HOPE!!!!! NO!

Klaus had taken Caroline to Vincent. Despite the fact that Vincent hated the original hybrid, he had a soft corner for Caroline and he could not ignore his friend when she was in need of his help. 

THE LAFAYETTE CEMETARY 

Caroline was laid down on the table while Vincent enchanted a few spells to figure out her situation. He looks at Klaus who was looking at Caroline worriedly and says, "Tell me again, what happened?"

 Klaus sighs and says, "After the wedding, the Hollow gate crashed our party. Again, with the same motive of taking Hope. When we tried to stop her, she  almost beat me and Caroline to death. Hope could not see her mother die so she accepted the Hollow's conditions. But before the Hollow could hit Hope with the spell, Caroline came in the middle and she was hit by the spell." 

Vincent nods and picks up a crystal necklace and again starts chanting something. He barely touched Caroline when he was empowered by different visions and dreams which made him tremble.

He looked at Klaus and says, "The spell was a transfer spell. The hollow was using a spell to slowly transfer her magic onto Hope. Hope is a tribrid, she has a lot of strength. On the other hand, Caroline's hybrid body alone cannot handle all this magic. 

She will die because of this magic. We need to reverse the spell and take the magic out into something powerful."

 Klaus nods and says, "Do the spell, put it in me. The original hybrid should be enough power."

 Vincent shakes his head and says, "Its not possible Klaus, you are still not enough."

 Klaus bangs his hand on the table and says, "Then I will die! I don't care! I can't let Caroline die and I can't put Hope in the crossfire." 

Vincent nods and starts preparing for the spell. Klaus looks at Caroline, and looks at Vincent and says, "Meet me back at the mansion Vincent. I am taking Caroline back. We will perform the spell there only. "

 Vincent nods in agreement and Klaus picks up Caroline and vamp speeds back to the mansion. 

THE MIKAELSON MANSION 

Klaus just came back to see Andrei lying on the ground, his neck turned at an odd angle and Elijah standing over him with a furious look, and Katherine bent on the ground, tears pouring out. 

Klaus puts down Caroline on the sofa and says, "What the heck happened here? I asked to keep an eye on him, not kill him! What if we needed him!" 

Elijah has his vampire features come out and he says, "He was saying wrong stuff. He was deliberately trying to make me angry ! He was saying stuff about Katerina and-" 

when Katherine shouts suddenly, "You killed him Elijah! I had a chance with him. To tell him about our daughter! To tell him about the things that have happened after he left me! You took that way from me just because he was shit talking!"

 Elijah looks shocked at how upset Katherine is and says, "Is that it then! Now that the first love of your life is back, you're gonna leave me? Huh, that's all I meant to you?" 

Katherine looks pissed off and she says, "Please tell me you didn't kill him just because of petty jealousy!" and Elijah's eyes cast down to the floor and he remain quite. Katherine nods in anger and says, "That's it! We're done Elijah! I don't care how much you love me! We're done!" and walks off.

 Elijah looks devastated and Klaus is just standing there silently, not wanting to disturb them. Elijah then suddenly makes up his mind and says, "What have you got Niklaus? How do we save Caroline?" 

Klaus nods, understanding that Elijah wants a distraction from the pain and says, "Call everyone in the family. Tell them to be here in half hour. I have a plan. I just want to spend some time with Hope now." Elijah nods and Klaus picks up Caroline and takes her up to Hope's room. 

HOPE'S ROOM 

Hope was sitting on the bed, playing with her M necklace when she hears her father's voice say, "Can we come in, my littlest wolf?" Hope turns around, looks at her dad and her mom in his arms and nods a yes. 

Klaus comes in and lays down Caroline on the bed. He then goes over to Hope and says, "Hope we need to talk. I figured out a way to save your mom. " and Hope's face lightens up. He continues, " I will take all the magic in me. It's possible that I may not survive it Hope." and Hope then starts getting tears in her eyes. 

She shakes her head in disagreement and says, "Dad, no. Please, don't leave mommy and me." Klaus says, "I don't have a choice sweetheart. I know you may not agree with me on this decision, but I love your mom so much. I can't let her die Hope. And I can't let you get hurt." and Hope slowly starts crying silently. Klaus wipes her tears with his thumb and says, "I have done a lot of bad things in my life Hope.  

Doing this for you and  your mom, will be redemption for me. I will happily die for you." 

Hope now starts sobbing and hugs her father tightly begging him not to leave her. 

Klaus painfully breaks from the hug and says, "Don't cry, my littlest wolf. Be happy, your father is doing something good for the first time in centauries." and unable to see his daughter cry any longer, Klaus leaves the room with a heavy heart. 

AN HOUR LATER

While Klaus is telling his plan to his siblings, Vincent has come into Hope's room to perform some pre spell rituals on Caroline. He leaves the grimoire near the bed as he hears shouting coming from the study. 

He goes to the study and sees the Mikaelson siblings arguing about whether this is a good idea or not. Rebekah has tears in her eyes at the thought of loosing her brother and Elijah is angry.

 Klaus shouts, "Enough! There is no other way. I just want to save my wife and child. I don't care if I die in the process."

 Vincent makes his presence known by coughing slightly and  says, "There is a way. I was distribute the power between the 4 of you. You will have to stay away from Hope and each other but this way none of you will die." 

All of them turn to looks at Vincent, and Elijah says, "I agree. This is the better solution than Niklaus dying."  Rebekah nods and says, "I'm in." and Kol also agrees. Vincent was about to say something when they heard Hope scream from the other room. 

They all run to that room and Klaus shouts, "Hope!! No!!" as he sees Hope with Vincent's grimoire, holding her mother's hands , muttering the last few words of the spell,  and then falling unconscious. 

Klaus runs to pick his daughter and pulls her in his lap. He tries to wake her up by patting her cheek but nothing works. 

Vincent comes and looks at Caroline in worry, seeing that the desiccation is now stopping and Klaus says in a desperate voice, "Please tell me that the spell didn't work. Tell me that the Hollow's magic in not in Hope!"

 Vincent backs away and doesn't say anything. Klaus nods, his eyes filling with anger as he says, "This doesn't change anything. The magic will be distributed among us, now more that ever."

A.N. OKAY I 'M POWERING THROUGH. THE NEXT CHAPTER WILL BE THE LAST OF SEASON 4. HOPE YOU'RE NOT TOO DISSAPOINTED THAT I BROKE UP KATHERINE AND ELIJAH.  HOPE YOU ALL LIKE IT!
