ROUSSAUS'S 

Declan was working in the kitchen when he suddenly hears a whoosh behind him. He turns around and sees a man in a black coat, black jeans and a grey Henley. 

He has a evil smirk on his face and is holding one of the knives. 

He looks at Declan and says, "Hello Declan. I am looking for my wife, she is missing. I thought you might know."

 Declan gulps his fear down and says, "I don't know about your wife. I don't even know  who she is."

 Klaus chuckles and says, "Uh uh, don't lie Declan. You have been flirting with her from the last 3 years. Tried to take her on a date a few time too huh? Caroline Forbes Mikealson rings a bell? Blonde, looks like a goddess." 

Declan gets a bit of his courage back after hearing Caroline's name and says, "So what I have been flirting with her, you have been gone from the last 7 years. I didn't  even do anything the first 2 years. She is allowed to move on. 

Even convinced her to go on a date with me but then she saw one of your paintings and got into denial again. I have been there for her when she cried, where were you!?" 

Klaus gets angry and lunges to him and says, "She is MY wife! I love her, I love her more than my life itself. And she loves me. You are nobody. You don't deserve a beautiful woman like her. I have been through hell for her and she will never be someone else's, she will always be mine. You get it."

 Suddenly a voice comes from the door, "Dad!"

 Klaus turns around and sees a blonde teenage girl, looking like a carbon copy of Caroline with his eyes, looking at him with a angry look on her face. 

Klaus let's go of Declan and looks at his beautiful daughter with guilt and shame. 

He compels Declan to go and get some groceries and then Declan says to Hope, "Hey kiddo, I saved some of your fav pudding in the fridge, knock yourselves out."

 Hope smiles and nods as Declan leaves the kitchen. 

THE MIKAELSON MANSION 

 Hope and Klaus had come back to the mansion and neither had said a word. Hope looks at her father who was increasing the distance between them and not looking her in the eye. 

She gets irritated and says, "Seriously Dad! you are not even going to look  me in the eye now?"

 Klaus says, "We are not supposed to be this close. Its not good for you." 

Hope scoffs and says, "That's all you have to say to me! How about Hi Hope, I have not seen you from the last 7 years, how are you!?" in an angry tone. 

Klaus says, "It was not my fault, I had to keep you and your mother safe."

 Hope says, "Yeah, good job at that. Where is mom again? That's right! Kidnapped!"

 Klaus says, "I will find your mother and bring her home Hope. I promise." 

Hope shouts, "Don't lie! You have never kept your promises! You promised mom on your wedding day that you will never hurt her, never make her cry. But from the last 5 years all mom has done is cry. She waited for dad. She still waits for you to send a text or call at least. She cried herself to sleep every night but you went on like nothing mattered to you." 

Klaus now says in a loud voice, "You don't think I am hurting? I love her! I love her more than my own life! All I wanted to do was come back to you both but I couldn't. You would have died Hope! And Caroline would have never forgotten if that happened. I would have never forgotten myself."

 Hope breaks down into tears as she sits on the sofa and says, "You should have texted dad. Called! All I wanted was for you to explain that night! I saw a man who looked like my father but was a monster covered in blood! I waited for you, for days!"

and suddenly the flowers kept on the table start dying. Klaus looks at the flowers and says, "We are too close. I am going to find your mother and then I will stay away from you." and runs away.
