OUR HOPE

WE DON'T HAVE A THING

That day was like one of the most perfect days of their lives. Rebekah and Stefan were catching up on their past. Katherine and Elijah were making up for lost time and Klaus, Caroline and Hope were spending some family time. Kol and Davina had decieded to leave because Kol did not wat Davina getting caught in cross- fire again. Nobody was happy but they accepted it. As soon as Hope was put to bed, Caroline started getting ready and Klaus started preparing for their date. 

It is finally time for Caroline and Klaus's date. Caroline wears a light pink dress and Klaus is wearing a dress shirt with his sleeves rolled up. He is standing in the gazebo which is decorated by fairy lights and a small table in the middle where there is dinner and champagne. Caroline comes inside and says, "Oh, getting ready for a date?" in a teasing voice.

 Klaus turns around, smiles and says, "Yeah, she is beautiful. You are going to like her." He says while going forward to give her a small kiss. He takes her hand and takes her to the table. "Is champagne our thing?" Klaus ask. "We don't have a thing." Caroline says and they are both reminded of the old memory of the time when Klaus made the snowflake painting. 

Klaus opens up the champagne and pours it into 2 glasses. He passes it to Caroline and says, "I heard what you said to Elijah this morning." Caroline understands what he is talking about ands says, "Klaus I-" when Klaus interrupts, "You are not a Mikaelson sweetheart, at least not until I make you one but you don't have our darkness. You are a savior of light to this family, you don't have blood on your hands, you may have made some people mad but it was all family. All for love." 

The date goes splendidly and now they are sitting and talking. Caroline was talking and Klaus was staring at her like she is his whole world. Suddenly he interrupts her and says, "Marry me." Caroline smiles and says, "I already said I would." "No like right now. Today, tomorrow. Anytime within this month. I don't want to be away from you any longer. Our family is finally complete. We have our daughter with us. Everything is finally perfect."

 Caroline smiles and says, "Ok, but I want the perfect wedding. Oh, what colors will we use? Oh I need Rebekah for this and-" She is interrupted by Klaus's lips on her. He kisses her passionately and speeds them inside. "It has been far too long." He mumbles in between kisses. Caroline nods and takes of his shirt. Klaus takes of her dress and throws it across the room. They continue kissing while going to the bed. Klaus goes on top and starts kissing down her neck.

MEANWHILE ELIJAH AND KATHERINE ARE SITTING ON THE COUCH WATCHING TV

They were giggling and watching the movie when suddenly a small voice comes, "Uncle Eli, Aunt Kat?" Katherine gets of Elijah's lap and says, "What's the matter Hope?" bending down to Hope's level. "I need my mom Aunt Kat. My head aches." Katherine shouts in a loud voice to Caroline's room. "Care---" A few seconds later, Caroline comes running down, wearing Klaus's shirt with messed up hair. 

She sees Hope and kneels down, cupping her face, "Mom, my head aches and I don't feel good. There is someone trying to hurt some kids and I think they are hurting me too." Caroline sees Hope's nose bleeding of blood and immediately hugs her. Caroline wipes Hope's nose and says, "Honey, don't worry. Mommy is here." 

Hope starts burning up and Klaus comes down and sees the scene while Elijah tells him what happened. Caroline picks Hope up and takes her to the sofa while Katherine gets a blanket and wakes up everyone else.

The entire family was surrounded by the sofa where Caroline was sitting along with Hope in her lap and she had a hand on her head, hoping that her fever goes down. Klaus was angry and upset over the fact that someone was trying to hurt his daughter. 

Suddenly Caroline feels something move in her pocket and puts a hand in there and takes out the note. She reads it and says, "It's from Vincent Griffith. He knows what wrong with Hope but we will have to go back to New Orleans." 

THE MIKEALSONS WENT TO NEW ORLEANS HE NEXT DAY. KLAUS AND ELIJAH ARE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT A WAY TO FIND THE PERSON WHO IS HURTING HOPE. HOPE AND ELIJAH AND TALKING IN THE COMPOUND WHEN CAROLINE COMES DOWN FROM HOPE'S ROOM.

"She is asking for you. She wants to spend time with you. The fever is down, but not completely. She is healing slowly." Caroline says while walking down the stairs. Klaus looks at her and says, "Tell her I am busy. I have to find the person who did this."

 Caroline snaps back and says, "No. You will go spend time with our daughter while I go talk to the wolves. I won't take no for an answer. " She says and vamp speeds away. Elijah looks surprised and says, "You have found yourself one hell of a woman, you know that right?" "Obviously." Klaus says while rolling his eyes and walking up the stairs to his daughters room.

 He walks in the room and sees Hope tucked in the blankets. He sits besides her when she opens her eyes, "Dad, you came?" she says. "I will always come when you call me sweetheart. You are the most important person in my life." Klaus says. "Mommy too?" Hope asks in a sweet voice. 

Klaus chuckles and says, "Yes Hope, your mommy too. Do you want to know a secret?" in a low voice. Hope nods excitingly and Klaus says, "I am very soon going to marry your mommy. I love her very much and I asked her 5 years ago but could not marry her that time. When you will get well then maybe we can think about it." Hope gives a dimpled smile and says, "Really? Can I be in the wedding." Klaus smiles and nods. Hope laughs and starts dreaming about her parent's wedding. 

"Once you are alright we will share the biggest place of beignets ever. Though your mother may oppose but we will be secretive." Hope smile and starts going to sleep. Klaus stays there the whole day looking at her beautiful daughter while Caroline is out trying to figure out what happened to Hope.
