Steve's POV

          My love for her was like a drug. She consumed every part of me.

          Everyone said that when we were together, we were unique and so perfect for one another. I thought the same thing, however as time went on, I could feel myself slipping away. It was all happening right after I had gone back in time and saw Peggy once more. Peggy never saw me, but I saw her, and I haven't stopped thinking about her, and I believe Holly knows about this.

         We were lying in bed when I heard her sigh.

                "What's wrong?" I asked concernedly. I was fully aware of what was wrong, and I don't know if I was ready to hear it.

                "I know you saw Peggy."

         I held my breath for a moment as I waited for her to continue speaking, but she hadn't said a single word, so I spoke.

                 "I did."

                 "Is that why you have been acting distant?"

                 "Yes."

                 "Are you still thinking about her?"

                 "Yes."

       My answers were all one word until this next question, and it hit me like a ton of bricks.

                "Do you still love her?"

                "No, I don't. I love you, Holly. Just seeing Peggy threw me off course. I love you, Holly, I am all in with you, and I want to be with you forever. You have me so high on your love. No one will try to bring me down. No one will come between us."
