Steve's POV
I have always been looking for a girl like Lily. When we first met, she was a tough one to crack. We come from different worlds, different times. But it was perfect timing. However, she was not interested in me at first, or so I thought. She claims now that she was just playing hard to get.
But after asking her out about a dozen times, she finally caved and said yes. Since our first date, which was well over two years ago, we have been inseparable ever since.
Lily is the only girl I want to be with for the rest of my life. I smiled as she walked through the bedroom door. She smiled brightly back at me, "What's on your mind?"
"You," I gave her a cheeky smile and a wink. She blushed and blew me a kiss. She really is the one for me.
