If there was one good thing that came out of Aurora getting kidnapped is that she didn't have to wear that horrible striped pin suit anymore. She instead wore something more her own style that consisted of a pair of plaid brown pant with a matching blazer, a black long-sleeved shirt and some black shoes. Her afro like hair was soft on her head as she looked out of the car window, wishing to escape as she looked at the familiar taxi riding behind them.

"We've been following those Baudelaires for an interminably long time," Olaf complained, snapping Aurora out of her thoughts.

"Isn't it marvellous? There's nothing like a trip in a getaway car," Esmé smiled.

"But we'll never get far," Aurora muttered.

"I needed a getaway from that dirty, grimy city and all the people after me there," Esmé turned to look at the henchpeople. "Be honest. What do you think of my hat?" She asked.

"I think you look beautiful," The bald man complimented.

"I wish I had skin like yours. I wish I was wearing your skin," The pale ladies added.

"You look nice." Alex finished.

"Don't look now, but someone's following us," Olaf said and Aurora tried to look calm as everyone turned to look. "I said don't look—Never mind."

"Oh, no. Is it the paparazzi or the press?" Esmé asked with a smile before she gasped. "Or my husband? His lawyers have been calling. He also wants Aurora back."

"It's a taxi. About a mile back. He's been behind us an interminably long time," Hooky said to Olaf.

"You didn't think to mention until now that someone is following us?" Olaf exclaimed as Aurora lightly smirked.

"I wanted it to be a surprise?" Hooky tried.

"Is it the police?" The bald man asked.

"Why would the police take a taxi?" Olaf shot back.

"Because they're undercover," Aurora tried.

"No one asked you, Snicket Junior." Olaf sneered and Aurora pulled a face at him before looking out of the window again.

"Well, whoever it is, they seem to be obeying the speed limit," Esmé commented.

"There's only one taxi driver I know who cared about obeying the law. There's a shortcut up here someplace. Let's see Snicket try to follow us now." Olaf said as he took a sharp turn.

Aurora sat on the dusty floor of the saloon with her hands and feet tied together and a rag in her mouth.

"Are you comfortable?" Hooky asked her and Aurora shrugged.
