Jealousy was not something uncommon when it came to Uraraka. She was a woman who liked to let everyone see what was her own, who liked to claim the place, but she was too greedy with something that was far from her reach. But she couldn't understand that concept, so she simply did what she knew best. Attack the "competition," in every way she can.

"Mop the floors, make yourself useful" she said through her teeth as she threw the stinky and wet mop to the royal blood

"How is that done?" she asked not knowing

"Of course you don't know. You are so useless" she mocked her showing how to do the job

Y/N quickly took on and began mopping the deck without much question. To her, everything was interesting. Drinking, cleaning and even helping with the cooking. Since at the palace everyone did everything for her, she didn't even get a chance to hold a broom, not even to talk about mopping.

"What are you doing?" Jiro asked as she noticed the girl doing Uraraka's job

"Uraraka told me to mop the deck"

"But that's not your job" she sighed "You don't have to do anything if the captain doesn't tell you to. Don't be so naive Y/N"

Jiro became close to the princess, she helped with every single thing Uraraka made her do, she talked to her and kept her company. Y/N even dared to call and considered her a friend, something she didn't have until now. It was lonely back home, only the maidens talked to her here and there, but they didn't want to get close since their status couldn't reach her highness. She had king Todoroki, but he lived in another land, and his visits were rare and short, so she didn't get to enjoy his company too much.

"Then what should I do?" she asked

"Drop that mop and let that sly bitch do her own chores" she smirked grabbing the girl's arm "Captain said to stay in his sight, so you should go see the captain" she dragged the girl along with her

Bakugou was playing some card games with Kirishima and Deku, enjoying the rest of his sailing without much trouble. Jiro was sure he wouldn't mind the company of the pretty (h/c) haired lady.

"You got it from here, have fun Y/N" she smiled as she pushed the girl next to the boys, leaving to do her own job

She didn't talk too much to any of them, and she was sure Bakugou felt hostile towards her, since she caused him a lot of trouble, but she was a persistent person.

"Good morning captain" she said monotone

He glanced over to the girl and raised his brow. He wasn't used to hearing her call him captain, it didn't feel right as she was not a part of the crew.

"Since when are you calling me captain?" he asked almost mocking her with his tone

"Don't be so harsh on her, Bakubro. She was being nice" Kirishima scolded him "Come sit here mermaid" he said with a bright smile as he patted his lap

Y/N was not so aware of the interactions between men and women so she didn't give much thought to this action and sat down in his lap.

"What are you playing?" she asked curiously

The red haired man leaned closer to her face and smiled.

"Poker. Wanna be my lucky charm and help me win?" he said looking at her pretty face

For some unknown reason to her, she blushed at his simple remark. But someone else was watching with twitching eyes.

"Are you an easy woman Y/N?" Deku asked as he placed a card down

"Excuse me?" she was aware of that call

"Sitting on a man like that. Do you perhaps like our friend, Ejiro?" he said looking into her (e/c) orbs

"Cut the crap talk!" Bakugou hissed "And you" he said pointing at the girl "Aren't you my possession?"

He was referring to her as his key to the treasure, but for sure his words sounded like something else.

"Am I?" she asked not sure about the meaning behind them

"OF COURSE YOU ARE IDIOT!" he shouted catching the attention of a few others

"Oh, I see" was all she could reply

In that moment Kirishima noticed something that brought a sly smile to his face. He moved his lips close enough to her ear, so he was able to whisper something to her. As he placed his cards down he looked at the other two men waiting for them to do the same.

"Looks like you win again, Kirishima" Deku sighed

"The pretty lady was my lucky charm this time" he grinned

She nodded and got herself up, moving to sit on Bakugou's lap as Kirishima told her she should. He explained that he may have more luck in winning if she was there, which would make him happy.

"What are you doing?" he said looking at her

"I thought it would bring you luck" she said with a faint smile

Bakugou grinned at her remark and moved one of his hands up her thigh. He adjusted her position so he could see the table more, but still have her close to him.

"Damn, you don't even know how this might look, do you idiot?" he asked her with a smirk

"My name is Y/N, not idiot" she replied shortly

"Very well, idiot. If you can do something for me, I will call you by your name"

He was indeed testing to see how much she was willing to give for her own wish. But he was also enjoying how naive she was, something any man of his kind would.
He whispered something to her, that made her whole face go red, earning a chuckle from the blonde man.

"And you will call me Y/N after this?" she asked only to be sure of it

"I am a man of my word"

Hearing his response, she took the lemon from the cup on the table and put it in between her lips, feeding it to him.

"You are a very interesting woman, Y/N"

Somehow, her name spoken by him, made her heart beat faster. She was wondering for a moment if that's how the noble ladies from her romance novels felt.
