I had gotten ready after the showers and I noticed how my hair on my arm had started growing, with a flick of a wand "Hairless maxima!" the hair had disappeared leaving behind my smooth skin, "Well that is one heck of a spell." I said to myself and left the dormitory making my way to the breakfast.

I was walking by the Great Hall doors when I spotted Noah sitting at the Gryffindor table with Ginny, Ron, Neville and Hermione, I went over and sat by Ginny, "Morning guys," all of them looked tired except Ginny and Noah. They replied in a monotone voice, "Morning..."

"What happened to these guys?" I questioned Ginny, "They couldn't sleep properly because of their spouse" She said.

"Well, for some reason, I think I found the couch way more comfortable.." I said as Hermione huffed, "I couldn't even fall asleep, I finished that book and TWO more books to distract my discomfort yesterday night" She looked at me.

"We can't do anything about it, I mean, I know its hard for all of us to settle in." Neville expressed to which Ginny declined, "No, Harry and I hooked up the whole night, he also di-" "GINNY!" we all cried, which muted her.

"Hannah kept moving and squirming on the bed. She couldn't sleep either, For all I know she could've killed me in my sleep- I have trust issues y'know." Neville told us.

We heard owls chirping from the ceiling, we looked over our heads, my eyes following the ceiling as I saw many owls making their way towards their owners, "Oh great, the mails are here!" I sarcastically stated, I never get mails. Everyone started opening up their mails while I was sipping pumpkin juice, a mail dropped on my head which said my name.

"Weird, no one ever mails me" I said as Ginny looked over me, "Holy smokes, Katie's got a mail!" she yelled bringing all the attention to me, "Woah? Katie's got a mail?" "Oh my, that's something I genuinely thought would never happen" They all started sarcastically teasing me, "Guys, that's not nice!" I scolded them, slowly shrinking in my seat.

I opened up the mail and saw that it was from Professor McGonagall, I looked over to her only to see her talking to Kingsley,

Dear Katie Bennete,

I've noticed that the marriage law has caused you some problems to settle in, I have also noticed that it's not just you who is requiring query with the marriage. This is why I am to inform you that you are welcomed to come by my office by 8 so that I can encourage you with difficulties, I'm simply worried for you as I count you all like children to me. I don't want any of you to struggle with agony while dealing with your spouse. Also, I like Fudge Flies.

-McGonagall.

I huffed because I didn't want to annoy anyone.

"Why is he staring at you?" Ginny whispered to me, I looked over to where Ginny was looking to see Malfoy staring at me, I kept staring at him in confusion, not breaking the eye contact while I replied "I have no idea..", Noah stood up and dragged me towards him, "Katie, let's go, our first class is potions." He huffed while I tried waving Ginny goodbye.

The rest of the day went pretty chill, I wasn't disturbed by Noah or Ginny when I was at the Library, I had found a new book called 'The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe' which was quite intriguing. I looked over the clock and it was about 7:38 to which I gasped and put the book in my small bag and practically sprinted towards Professor McGonagall's office. The library is pretty far from her office, which would take about 30 minutes or so only if my dumb arse doesn't get lost. I do get lost quite often.

-20-25 minutes later-

I made my way to the entrance and said "Fudge Flies" and the gargoyles let me through. I knocked at her door; "Come in." she replied while I opened the door, "Oh, Miss Bennete, have a seat," I nodded.

"Professor, I got confused about the last part of the letter which included you saying that you liked Fudge Flies, and I assumed you wanted that chocolate. I didn't realize that it was your password until now." I handed her a pack of Fudge Flies and she took it, practically laughing, "You are adorable Miss Bennete." I weakly smiled at her, trying not to show my embarrassment.

"That is not what I wanted to talk about. How is everything going with Mr. Malfoy?" she asked.

"Professor, I don't really know what you expect, but it's pretty good. He has been quite nice to me." Which isn't exactly the truth, I didn't want to burden her, plus I didn't feel like opening up too fast.

"Hmm, I actually expected something, well I guess you could go then," I nodded and stood up, making my way towards the door; "But remember," She said, "My doors are always opened for you Miss Bennete, I know you have family issues, I want to try my best to make you feel at home." She said with a smile which immediately brought a smile on my face, "Yes Professor" I said and left.
