They remember the flashback when Anu was walking in park and Rohit stood in a side with his friends passing a line when Anu passed by them.
Rohit: Ohoh madam badi fitness freak ho.

When everyone including riyaz was about to leave Anu held Riyaz's hand to stop him. He understood and stayed back. After everyone left Anu had her conversation with Riyaz.
Anu: Do you love me?
Riyaz: W.What?
Anu: Relax I just asked if you love me.
Riyaz: Why do you think so.
Anu: Crying, while I was on the hospital bed...anger when Rohit and Avni entered....and jealousy when Rohit and Me smiled...is this not enough evidence to prove you love me.
Riyaz: I don't love you...it is just care for you.
Anu: Oh really, Care for the person who is more of a enemy than friend..I keep fighting with you, irritating you and what not.
Riyaz: What if I ask you the same question? getting shot while saving my life...isn't it evidence enough to prove you love me too.
Anu: Too? this means you love me.
Riyaz: Yes, I do alot.
Anu: What if I reject?
Riyaz: Would you?
Anu: You don't ask question on question.
Riyaz: Even you are avoiding the question.
Anu: Maybe...or maybe even I don't have answer to your question.
Riyaz: Then, find the answer.
Anu: How I don't know?
Riyaz: We will see about that....but now you need to rest, so lie down and sleep.
