Last Love: Part 12

Leap of 3 years 

Anu's POV

It's been 3 years since RIAN went official. In these 3 years there have been so many updates and events that I didn't realise when 3 years passed. To start with....Riza got married...ofcourse to my lovely brother Rajat. Well actually all of the couples in the gang are committed from Fainat, Sidneet and even Raghav bhai found a girlfriend. 

Coming back to Riyaz and me...we have been dating well and Riyaz even confessed his love to me in a proper way with a promise ring. It is our 3rd year anniversary in 1 week and I plan on surprising him by arranging a surprise celebration and proposing him.  (Ofcourse without gang)

Few days later

Anu's POV

I am fed up now. The anniversary is 2 days after. All my plans have gone down the drain. Riyaz has a family emergency in Bhutan so he have gone there since 3 days and don't know when will he come.  Overall meaning the 3rd year celebration is completely cancelled because it is incomplete without Rii. However a good news that came through is that Riza is expecting. So yes "Main bua banane wali hun". Well to stay with Riza, bhai has decided to stay back in India (reminder: He lives in USA and comes during Christmas new year holiday to india) as there are complication in Riza's pregnancy and travelling is not advised. Bhai doesn't wanna take risk (how sweet bhai).

Anniversary day

Anu's POV

So, I woke up bored and even upset....Riyaz didn't call me at midnight to wish me. And when I called he didn't pickup. I lied there on my bed and then suddenly...

*Phone rings in background* 

Great he remembers me now...well this time I wouldn't pickup.  (Yes it's Riyaz's)

I went to the bathroom and took my time. When I came back I found a beatiful red and white coloured gown (imagine the gown above) on my bed with some jewellery and heels. There was also a note that said...."Wear me and go to XYZ address in 30 minutes". I was surprised as Riyaz is in Bhutan and no one would give such a sweet gesture to me except him. Though, I didn't want to I still followed this message and did what was written. 

As I came outside a car was already there to pick me up. A driver held a sign "Use Me and U will reach your destination" with an arrow pointing the car. 

Right then I received a message..."Follow the drivers instruction".

I did the same......After an hour the car stopped, I was told to be blindfolded and then the car was back on the road. 

After some 15 minutes the car stopped again and the driver announced" Your destination is here, keep yourself blindfolded as you will be approached and taken inside",

I just nodded and in no time my door opened. A man held my hand to get me out of the car and then picked me in bridal style to take me inside. A few minutes later I was put down on my feet and the man opened my blindfold. 

I adjusted to the light as it was day and I was blindfolded for enough time to make me so blind. 

After I got adjust with lights I adjusted my face which went all open in shock at the beauty of the place and the decorations. 

A place on the edge of the mountain was decorated as beautifully as I dreamed about infact more. A red carpet spread, leading towards a table in the centre, roses and red ballons decorated everywhere.

I heard a voice that brought me back to reality and I saw a hand approach my way to hold mine.  I was shocked to see Riyaz and had many questions. Not to forget I was Mad at him already and now he's given me another reason. I ignored his forwarded hand, literally ignored him and went straight to the table that was set for lunch. I sat down there but Riyaz approached me so I just went of to stand of the edge of the mountain.

Rii: Why are you ignoring me? 

Anu: When you know I am why are you still behind me?

Rii: Because I am never gonna leave.

Anu: Okay then Stay, but never talk to me.

Rii: What have I done to make you angry?

Anu: You should ask what have you not done. You were in India, yet not with me, I was dying to hold your hand to be in your arm and you were enjoying somewhere close to me. You didn't call me at midnight and in morning I receive your call. Why have you changed so much in just 3 years Riyaz. When you are close you are always busy with work, when you are away you don't do long chats and phone calls with me and even ignore mine. Do you really want this relationship or should I call it quits Riyaz. 

Riyaz: You want Breakup?

Anu: No. I don't, but I am happy to if you are not willing to be in this relation anymore. You have till tomorrow to take your decision. I will leave now. 

I turned towards the car to ride back home but I was stopped by Riyaz.

Riyaz: You...you think I was enjoying....You think I lied to you. Fine I agree, but I have learnt from you to never leave something unheard and hear both sides of the story before a conclusion. This was your part and Now its my turn.

Anu: Fine, What have you to say?

Riyaz: I agree, I was away and lied to you about going to Bhutan....but I wasn't enjoying. All these days I was on a search for a location to plan our most important proposal, Ms. Ananya.

I was shocked to hear that name after 10 years...the next thing I remember was waking up in a hospital.

Author's Note 

Hey guys I am back with an update...Sorry for not updating for so long....a lot has been going on in my life. 

There are some changes to the story which are:

The story is no longer a part of a short stories collection called "Love diaries" but an individual story. This part will be a continuation as a new season for the story. 

I will think something else for "Love Diaries" and write it when I wish.

I also have some targets for the next part from hereon: 

As it's the first time I am keeping targets....they are less...just 75 votes on this chapter....50 comments on this chapter and making the story reach 1K views/reads which stands at 600. (competition is high guys)

The next update might me weeks later or even months but by that time the target should be complete.
