"You bob apples in the toilet- and you like it!"

Me and Benny were walking back to my house, his mitt in his back pocket and his bat on the other side of his waste. Man, was that cute... Its almost as if he wears the same theme everyday, a flannel with jeans and a t-shirt but I loved it. I loved every single bit of it.
---
We finally got to my house, I opened the door and held it for Benny.
"Ma, I brought a friend home for dinner" I yelled while closing the front door.
"Amber, come in the kitchen. You haven't been home all day!"
I walked into the kitchen with Benny following me. He sat his bat by the door, and his mitt on the counter.
"Hi, you must be Ambers mom, I'm Benny," he reached his arm out to shake hers.
"Hello Benny, you can call me Heather" she smiled and looked me in the eyes with a an approving look.
"Well then, hello Heather" he smiled and looked back at me. He was really good with moms, wow ok.
"Do you mind if I stay for dinner?" He asked, " I don't want to intrude"
"Yes it's fine if you stay, just make sure you don't eat all the food," My mom tried making a joke... clearly it wasn't working. We both laughed faintly at the "joke." We both sat down at the table, facing each other on opposite ends facing each other. My mom brought in the food and we ate, we ate as if we haven't been fed in days. Playing baseball really takes the energy out of a person.
Once we both got done eating Benny helped get all the plates, we washed them and put them in them on the dish rack to dry. My mom thanked us and let us go for the evening.
"Benny, I wanna show you something" I told him while placing the last dish on the dish rack.
"Okay," he followed me up stairs and into the loft, I took him to a box labeled "Dads Stuff", I opened the box and inside was a bunch of collectors items from my dad. He used to collect everything, from signed balls, to even baseball cards.
"You can take a look, it's all my Dads Stuff. He left a while ago and he shouldn't be back. You like baseball more then me, so take what ever you like."
"Amber, wait? Really, I can't believe it!" He rummaged through the box and pulled out a ball, "Amber! This was signed by Babe Ruth! I can't believe it! Me and Squints have a ball that's signed by the entire New York Yankees!"
I smiled, he was cute getting all excited over a ball. It was so simple yet so important to him," My dad was a collector, he probably has like 3 of those balls somewhere in this box. Take it it's yours now"
"Amber, I- I don't know what to say... thank you! Thank you so much!" He got up with the ball in his hand wrapping his arms around e with excitement. I smiled and wrapped my arms back around him. He then pulled away and smiled, his face turning red and I felt mine blush too.
"Benny, but I swear you loose that ball your ass is grass, and I mean it"
"You know I wont," He winked throwing the ball up in the air slightly and catching it. We walked back downstairs with the all in his pocket. He grabbed his mitt off the counter and his bat, I walked him down to the front door, we met on the porch facing each other.
"Thank you again Amber" I smiled.
"Of course" I started blushing, dear lord I'm as red as a tomato.
He stepped off the porch and waved at me, then started heading home. I walked in the door, and closed it.
