plot: draco and the reader dance in the rain

background: they're both 6th years and due to draco's task he's been upset and in a bad mood for weeks. after y/n finds out, she slowly starts to help him feel better and she cheers him up. one day, they go dance in the rain together and all i can say is ✨serotonin✨

"Draco. Draco, wake up!" I whisper-yell at my boyfriend who is taking a nap at 6pm.

"God- y/n, what?"

"Look it's raining!" I say excitedly.

"Okay, and?"

"Come on!" I screech.

"What? Where? Y/n slow down!" he says due to the slight pressure on his arm as I drag him up and out of bed.

I'm wearing a thin white dress his hoodie and he's wearing gray sweats and a white shirt of his.

"We have to go! Hurry!" I yell and laugh.

"Why are we going outside? You just said it's raining."

"Exactly! Look how beautiful it is outside."

"Why do we have to go out there? It's fucking freezing, love."

"We'll keep each other warm. Come on! Please, it'll stop soon."

"Fine. But you owe me a plate of fresh, warm cookies."

"Deal." I say as we make it down the stairs of his dorm and walk to leave the dungeons. Once we're out of the common room, I'm running down the halls.

"Slow down! Who gave you this much fucking energy?"

"Just hurry up and I'll stop tugging you along."

"Darling-" he tries to say but I spin around and kiss him deeply.

"What was that for?" he asks while smiling.

"Just to encourage you." I say with a wink.

He laughs heartily behind me while I energetically walk down the hall. On the way to the courtyard, I see my friend Luna Lovegood so I happily wave to her.

"Hey Luna!" I say excitedly.

Draco's smile slightly falters, but he tries to keep up a kind, gentle, innocent façade for me. Aw, how sweet. He's still a prat sometimes.

"Oh, hello y/n! Hello Draco."

He nods at her, and I nudge him, reminding him to be polite.
