Chapter twenty four

Back in Russia~

Bear paced around his room ,he pulled at his hair looking around his room. Seeing it was trashed he was as torn up inside as his room was around him. His wolf fighting within his self also.
The worst possible fight for a werewolf to stay loyal to their alpha and their pack, but to also have their soulmates. Their other halves who are made for them and the goddess makes no mistakes... right?
He's sure he can change him maybe even his plan to hurt everyone to he had seen the way Marie brightens Lucas whole life now she seemed to fill the void that was Torn out of her heart or at least started to why couldn't he. He could do it to bear stopped pacing looking out his window. He's not betraying Luca just being a peace maker he could be the voice of reason he was snapped out of his trance like state to screaming he bolts out of his room and down the stairs to his pack mates and he sees him the cause of all his turmoil inside
"Xerx?"
The black haired vampire turned to him with his tantalizingly blue eye like ocean bear was drowning in he noticed the scene finally unfolding before his eyes his mate holding a pack warrior by the throat choking the life out of him people scattering away with children men shouting and running at him he looked over to them fearful they would hurt his mate he released his beta voice stopping them all in their track
"Stop right now!"
Everyone stopped more like slowed really looking at him confused bear was know to do outlandish things from times but he was a fearless warrior and would never stop someone else from stopping it themselves if they could quicker bear looked over to xerx
"Please put her down."
Xerx smirked putting the girl down who dropped to the floor due to the lack of oxygen making her almost pass out then turning his back to the people who consoled the warrior who crawled away from his deadly grip he stepped towards and bear didn't flinch the pack watch in anticipation when suddenly Xerx stands almost toe to toe with bear he grabs his cheeks a little rough looking at bear closer his eyes peering into his forest green eyes bear once again lost to his own demise in the ocean eyes a snap of fingers brought him out of his trance again he felt lovesick
Literally and physically he felt dopey and loopy he looked over to see his pack mates being taken down to rouges then back to the Blue eyes his eyes rolled into the back of his head and his eyelids drooped he hit the floor his mate not even flinching to catch him he looks back and sees the pack mates dead or surrendered he smiled at the chaos a flick of a wrist and a few words his plans were all set in motion
"take them to the cellars."

Atlantis~Now~

Everything was packed and set on their way Luca stayed back a little longer saying goodbye to her family a little while longer they had to wait and rally the troops too and give their warning to the other countries they have allied with they sat on the dock just enjoying some of their first good moments together before she had to go she sat the twins around her braiding and her hair up after a painful couple of hours they were done and the twins really had a talent for braiding and it was time for Luca to go back to the castle and get their reinforcements back at homeland and boy were they coming back to a hell hole and they all know it the looks of their faces determined to get through the trials in their way
