Chapter seventeen

I pace back and forth in front oh the room the had my mate in. I was kicked out long ago for nearly throwing a doctor who got in my way. Though I was their alpha they were focusing on what was wrong with their Luna. Packs are very protective over the Luna's due to them being like the mother to them all. They work extra hard and not because I would kill them if they didn't ,but because though they don't know her personally yet they love her. Finally a doctor walks out taking off her gloves I stopped and waited to hear what she said.
"Luna has been put in to a coma due to a wolfsbane ejection to her neck she has slight bruising on her wrist by the looks of it the Luna couldn't put up a fight"
My breath caught in my throat my stomach churning sickly it quickly turned from anguish to raging anger. I began to shake running into the room with my mate seeing her lay on a bed motionless her scent surrounding me. I walk over to her laying my forehead on hers whispering as a single tear slipping out of my eye on to her face.
"I will find who did this to you I promise but first I have to get you home some way"
I lightly kiss her nose sitting In the seat next to her holding her hand tight. I thought of ways to explain to her parents everything coming up with nothing. I whispered yelled
"What the fuck do I tell them!"
I groan laying my head on the edge of the bed. After a while I could barely keeping my eyes open . slowly I slipped in to a light sleep.
I wake up laying in a field of wildflowers and tall grass. I sit up and look around confused I hear someone yell out.
"Hello?!"
Not just anyone though it was Marie I jumped up she yelled again
"Hello anyone out here!?"
I ran towards her voice running into a thick forest I stopped and listened for anything I hear the sound of feet hitting the ground to the left of me I turn and run towards it pushing past tree limbs leaving little scratches as it duh into my skin but finally a see her long chocolate brown hair flipping around as she looked around frantically my heart swells I push harder to get to her I yell out for her
"Marie! Love! I'm here!"
She turns to me her eyes widened she ran towards me we got to each other but couldn't hold each other it was like a wall was between us tears filled her eyes
"Luca what's going on where are we why.."
I cut her off from rambling as she started to hyperventilate
"Hey hey hey close your eyes listen to my voice and breathe you're ok I'm right here I'm right here"
She did as she was told and started to breathe normally she opened her eyes laying her forehead on the wall between us I followed behind her doing the same I slowly started to talk
"Do you remember anything?"
She looked at me confused and shook her head slightly
"I was walking down on of your many hallways trying to find your office something stung my neck I went to turn around then I woke up here..."
She turned around putting her back against to invisible force and slid down to the ground putting her hands in her hair I slid down to my knees my forehead still against the wall
"You're in a coma moy tsvetok I promise I will find who did this and they will pay"
She tenses up jumping and turning around looking me in my eyes her crystal blue eyes glasses over with tears
"I'm in a What?! For how long! I-I-I Me gusta Aurora, pero esto ... no quiero estar lejos de ti. joder no puedes siquiera tocarme!"
The tears began to fall down her face as she let out a sob I wanted to tear through the invisible force and comfort her but I couldn't I just knew I couldn't so I looked down and done something I have done in a while I sang a song I was shocked I even still remember
"Mmmhmmm mhhhmmm
every night you hear her croon a Russian lullaby
just a little plaintive tune when baby's starts to cry
rock-a-by my baby
somewhere there maybe
a land that's free for you and me
and a Russian lullaby
mmmmhhhmmm mmhhhhmmm"
I finished and looked up to moy tsvetok the tears had stopped flowing down her face she was leaned against the 'wall' she looked up to meet my eyes her eyes glowing a bright vibrant crystal blue color she smiled slightly as she said
"You should sing for me more often your voice is calming and beautiful"
I smiled at her she was absolutely beautiful smart kind with a semi trailer of feisty how I got so lucky only noon goddess knows why Marie's cheeks were turning a deep red as I stared at her intensely I suddenly felt like I was being ripped back from her she started screaming my name banging on the wall as I tried to grab anything and everything to keep me with her suddenly...
I bolt up sitting beside Marie's hospital bed her hand still in mine I squeezed it kissing her knuckles as I whispered
"You will stay safe I promise but staying with me is putting you in danger"
My wolf growling in my head clawing to come through along with the beast and siren I could barely keep it together before I got out of the room I lost it shifting into the beast I trashed the waiting room chair flung around bent ripped in half like paper dents and holes now littered the wall I slowly shifted back anger still there just as strong I walk into the nearest bathroom looking under the sink I grabbed a baggy white shirt and basketball shorts putting them on I walked out of the hospital wing back to my office to summon back iridescensa seeing she was only person I could trust to keep my mate safe and not only because she owes me but also she knows the pain of losing a mate as she said and I quote
"Could never and would never fuck with what the moon goddess has planned it hurts to much for all party's involved"
I clenched my jaw after moy tsvetok is safe back at the palace I will find who is the traitor and eliminate them for good a sinister smirk creeped its way on my lips the beast fueled my anger more making me feel ten foot tall and bulletproof who ever did this just signed their death certificate.
