"It really is...but...I'm going to assume...you're Todoroki?" Todoroki tilted his head slightly in confusion, how could he know who he is? Well...aside from being the No. 2 pro hero's child. "Now I'm will take a guess. You're wondering how I know who you are?" The cloaked man guessed correctly. "Well, Meliodas had told me about someone named Todoroki coming to see me soon. As much as I hate to admit it, he was right, this is very strange."
Many thoughts raced in Todoroki's mind all at once. 'Who is Meliodas? What is this place? Who are these people' Todoroki questioned. On a positive note for Todoroki, he knew that he wasn't going to get killed. If the man wanted him dead, he would already be so. The son of Endeavor decided to converse with the man now known as Monspeet. "Take a seat, I'm sure you're very confused about what's going on." Monspeet said while gesturing to a chair next to him, motioning Todoroki to sit down.
He complied and sat on a wooden chair. 'Wait...this wasn't here before...is this his Quirk?'
"Now, what would you like to know?" The first question was clear to Todoroki. "Where am I? First I woke up and I was in this...void-like space, I felt like I was in there for days...months...years even. There was water on the ground, but it had none of its normal properties. I recently found this door, and when I did, the floor was suddenly...getting consumed. What is this place?" The poor boy is desperate for answers at this point. He knows nothing of what's going on, he thought it was the work of an enemy quirk user but that turned out to be wrong.
"You managed to walk through that door right before the place got, how do you say...consumed?" Monspeet asked. "That is correct" Todoroki answered. "You are certainly very lucky then...you managed to cheat death somehow."
*Silence*
"what?" Todoroki was baffled, he cheated death? So does that mean he was supposed to die right then and there? "Yes...I'm guessing that Izuku-child managed to save your life at the cost of something." "Are you talking about Midoriya?" Todoroki asked. "Yes, yes I am. That's his last name, is it not?"
'He still hasn't answered my question...if anything, this is raising even more questions!' "You haven't answered my question. Where am I? What is this place?" Todoroki asked, repeating himself. "This is my mindscape. As to the reason you're here... I have no answer. If I were to guess anything, I'd say it's some kind of link." Monspeet said. "What are you talking about?"
"I'm not really sure myself, Meliodas knows the answer but he chooses not to tell anyone about it. It's probably also the reason why Izuku met him." The man knew nothing of it as well. "Then, can you try and take a gamble on what's going on?" Todoroki asked politely, still very confused about what his situation is right now. "It might be some kind of link between two people, one example is Meliodas and Izuku. Merlin has a certain theory, she says that you're probably a parallel universe that was somehow collided and combined with ours, most likely due to the work of Chaos." Monspeet explained. "Chaos? What's that?"
