Ch-12:Tournament (Part 1)

"The first round of the tournament is Midoriya Izuku from the Hero course, versus Shinso Hitoshi from the Ordinary course! " Present Mic said.  The crowd cheering loudly in anticipation and excitement for their match. The battle between two completely unknown quirks since it hasn't been shown to them.  "The rules are simple!  Either throw them out of bounds,  paralyze them or make them give up. Don't worry about injuries,  Recovery Girl is nearby.  Throw you morals and ethics aside for a moment. But life threatening moves are for scums!  You'll be disqualified! Cementoss is here to stop those scum moves! " he explained.  "Make them say I give up huh? This fight tests the strength of your mind. If you have a future you're set on,  you can't care about appearances." Shinso said.  "Ready?!  Go! " "That monkey was talking about his pride and what not...  But don't you think it's stupid to throw away this chance? " This pissed Deku off.  "What did you say?! " Izuku said as he charged at him with intense speed.  "I win" Shinso smirked. "Eh?!" Present Mic exclaimed. "HUH?!" Class 1-A exclaimed too. "MIDORIYA HAS FROZEN IN PLACE! WHAT IS HE DOING?!" Present Mic said. Midoriya just stood still, blank eyes and no expression what so ever. "Dammit!  After all I've told him! " Oijiro shouted from the spectator area. "Midoriya, you really are blessed. Not many of us can accomplish our dreams because of our quirks. Turn around and walk out" Shinso commanded. Izuku obeyed, he turned around slowly and walked to the edge of the arena behind him. "MIDORIYA-KUN! DON'T WALK OUT! YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!" Iida said, chopping his hands like usual. "Deku-kun..." Uraraka worried. 'Wait, why am I walking out of the ring?! What's going on!' Izuku thought. 'I've fallen to his quirk....resist it! Come on! I can't afford to lose now!' Izuku tried resisting but it was futile. "SHINSO MAY HAVE NOT STOOD OUT YET BUT IS HE THE STRONGEST ONE OF THEM ALL!?" Present Mic commented. "That's why I said the entrance exam was biased, Shinso has one of the most powerful quirks in history. Unfortunately, the entrance exam was fighting robots, so with a quirk like that, he wasn't able to get any points." Aizawa said, looking at their data cards. 'Is this the end?' Izuku thought with despair. But then, he saw some weird looking shadow figures, one of them with the same hairstyle as All Might. He began hearing whispers but couldn't make out what they were saying. Suddenly, One for All charged into his fingers involuntarily and discharged, making his fingers break, but the shockwave affecting the entire stadium. Izuku had broken free from his quirk just before he stepped out of the ring. "Hahh..." Izuku panted as he gripped his hand in pain. "WHAT'S THIS?! MIDORIYA HAS STOPPED WALKING!

 "Hahh..." Izuku panted as he gripped his hand in pain. "WHAT'S THIS?! MIDORIYA HAS STOPPED WALKING! HAS HE REGAINED HIS CONSCIOUSNESS?!" Present Mic exlaimed. 'I can't control my mouth.  I guess I have to use it. Commandment activate. Piety' Izuku thought as a black mark appeared on his forehead again but this time it was covered by his hair,  his eyes turning black is the only visible change if looked at closely. "D-did anyone notice that his eyes turned black? " Kaminari said.  Bakugo's eyes widened at this. "Wait really?! " Kirishima exclaimed, he looked closer and saw that Kaminari was right.  "Damn!  You're right!  Maybe it's part of his quirk?  Or a mutation of some sorts?" Kirishima tried to figure it out. Tsuyu,  Jirou and Momo also took notice of this 'Kero There it is again, What is it? ' Tsuyu thought.  'Hm,  Midoriya you are a strange one. The same changes again, Iris turned black and the mark is covered by your hair. What are you hiding from us? ' Jirou thought.    "Y-you can make that just by moving your fingers?! Amazing! I'm so jealous!  Not all of us are blessed with a quirk like that! I seriously envy you!" Shinso tried to make Izuku talk again,  but he's learnt from his mistake. Izuku tried to push him out but Shinso went in for a punch to the stomach and saw that it was not effective and he was still getting pushed out. Izuku charged One For All into his fist, making it spark green electricity.  Shinsou got scared by this and tried to run from the attack but something suddenly took control, Izuku saw this and smiled 'Wait.. Why am I not moving' Shinso thought. "Sorry Shinso, but it's my win. " Izuku said"Walk out" Shinso immediately followed his order and procceeded to walk out of the arena. 'Wait,  why am I following him?!  Stop!  STOP!' He thought. "SHINSO IS OUT OF BOUNDS! MIDORIYA IS THE WINNER! " Midnight announced. Izuku deactivated his commandment power and his eyes returned to normal. "I-I lost " Shinso stammered. 'Wait,  but isn't Midoriya's power strength enhancement? ' Momo thought.   "Hey, Why do you want to become a hero? " Izuku asked him. Shinso ignored his question until "Hey Shinso! You did great! You almost beat someone that came first place in the race! And look!" Shinso looked at the pro heroes. "He got in the general course? U.A is stupid" a girl with teal green hair said. "Well there were a lot of participants so it can't be avoided" another pro hero said. "They'll consider transfers to the Hero Course depending on the results here. Remember that. I may have failed this time, but..... I'm not giving up. I'll show them I have what it takes to be in the Hero course, and I'll become a greater hero than ALL of you." Shinso said with determination in his voice. "Right...." Izuku said, freezing up again. 'he used his quirk?! But it's the end of the match!' Izuku wondered. "Heh, usually people get defensive after experiencing my quirk." Shinso said, letting go of the control on Midoriya and walking away. Izuku was brought to the nurse's office to get his broken fingers healed. "Kiss....." Recovery Girl healed Izuku's fingers and put bandages around them. "It must've been a tough battle, based on what Shinso-shounen was saying." All Might said, in his true form. "That doesn't make it okay for me to lose....I'm trying to become the number 1 hero" Izuku said. Toshinori (All Might's real name) started crying. "Oh-oh and uhmm I had a vision" "Huh? a vision?" Toshinori was confused. "Y-yeah, th-there were eight or nine of them...Not exactly sure how many. When my mind was lulled from Shinso's quirk, this vision appeared and brought me out of it... In that same moment, I was able to move my fingertip... One of them had your hairstyle too. Maybe it was the souls.... of the people who have last inherited One for All?" Izuku theorized. "Th-That's scary....." Toshinori trembled. "Wait what? You don't know about it?" he exclaimed. "I thought you would know!" he continued. "Well, I did see them. When I was young. Based on experience, I think it's a clear sign that you are adapting to one for all." He explained to Izuku. "They're the past bearers of One for All. They aren't the ones that undid your brainwashing though." he continued. "I'm...still not convinced." "Then stop dwelling on it! You should be worrying about your next opponent Midoriya-Shounen." 

=In the hallway=

Todoroki heads to his next battle, he is up against Sero. He encounters Endeavor, waiting for him in his path to his next battle. "Get out of my way" Todoroki said, "You disgrace me, Shoto. You could've won the first event with ease, had you used your left side." Endeavor said. Todoroki ignored him and walked pass him. "Grow up! stop rebelling like a child. It is your duty to surpass All Might. You are my greatest creation! You are special, different from your siblings." he continued. Todoroki had enough of this. "Is that all you have to say? I will win this battle with mother's power alone, I don't need your bullshit right now. I have to get to my match." Todoroki said with a rage-laced voice. "You will reach your limit soon Shoto, It may be enough for now. But soon you will reach your limit." Endeavor finished off before leaving. Todoroki was really frustrated. He walked to his next match, with a pissed off look on his face.

=With Izuku=

He walked to the seats his classmates were in to watch the match.  "Deku-kun! " Uraraka said "Good Job!  Come on! Sit here" She said. "We saved a seat for you! " Iida invited.  Izuku saw Oijiro giving him a happy thumbs up.  He nodded and went to sit beside his friends, he sat beside Uraraka and focused on the arena. "THANKS FOR WAITING!  THE NEXT FIGHT IS BETWEEN THE CAPABLE BLAND MAN....  SERO HANTA FROM THE  HERO COURSE! " Present Mic announced.  The crowd roared with anticipation. "NOW THAT IS IT FOR THE INTRODUCTIONS..... ARE YOU READY?! " "I don't feel like winning... What a drag.. " Sero said,  "START! " Sero immediately went for Todoroki with his tape,  and capturing Todoroki with it.  "but I don't plan on losing either" "WOW! A SUPRISE ATTACK THAT TAKES HIM OUT OF BOUNDS! WILL TODOROKI BE ABLE TO BREAK FREE IN TIME?! " Sero tried to throw him outside the arena. "Sorry." Todoroki said before stomping on the ground.  "O_o" Present Mic's expression said it all.  "Wh-what the" Izuku panicked as the ice almost hit the bleachers.  "Th-this vibration" Recovery girl said as the attack was felt even from that distance.  "What!" Death Arms said as he looked up and saw an Ice Spike peeking out of the roof of the stadium.

"I-Isn-n't th-this a-a b-b-b-it m-much-ch" Sero shivered. "S-Sero... Can you move? " Midnight asked, she too was affected by this glacier. "A-are y-you kidding?  O-of c-course not,  i-it hurts." Sero said, "todoroki is the winner,  he advances to the next round! " Midnight said.   "Y-yeah,  sorry I was a little frustrated. " Todoroki said as he put his left hand on Sero's chest to melt the ice and heat him up.  The crowd started reciting a "Don't Worry" chant.  Izuku can't help but notice though,  that Todoroki was sad when using his left side.
