"Why the fuck are you here?"
Erik asked in a very harsh rugged tone. I tried to talk back but found that I couldn't. I was horrified that he was in front of me and more to the fact that he was grabbing my arm still, exactly where he had grabbed it last time."Have you checked your phone?"
He asked me still using the same rough tone. I nodded my head no, still completely afraid."Take your phone out, right now!"
I did as he said and took out my phone. I had plenty of missed calls and text messages from him."You are disappointing me a lot lately. You haven't been acting like a good girlfriend!"
He said to me."M-me? You are the one who keeps hurting me" I say quietly.
His act suddenly takes a curb. He steps back away from me a bit and his mad face softens.
"I am so sorry about that, I feel so fucking bad, you have no idea. I'm such a horrible person!"
He starts breaking down now. His posture falling a bit and his hands go up to his face, covering his eyes as he is nodding side to side rigorously. My heart is still pounding rapidly but I suddenly felt bad and pulled him into an embrace. He quickly accepted the hug and placed his head on my neck. He was crying a bit hard now and I just gently patted his back.
After a minute or so of him mourning on me, he finally pulled away. Just as he did that, Zach approached us.
"Is everything alright here?"
He asks us, giving me a very concerned look. I wasn't quite sure if everything was alright or if he was alright, or even if I was alright at the moment but I managed to say that everything is fine to him and gave him a reassuring smile."Okay well if you need anything, I'll be upstairs."
I nodded in response and up the stairs he went. I turned myself around to eye Erik and he promptly had half a beer in his hand. From what I've heard in the past, when Erik gets drunk, it's not a good time. He's not a happy nor loving drunk, he's an angry drunk, and I bet you could've already guessed that. However, we both were fine now and we started to have a nice conversation about him creating this 'bad ass car' on some video game and I told him that maybe he can become a car engineer. He took it into consideration as to knowing that he really likes cars.
We suddenly got interrupted by a skinny blonde girl wearing a tight short pink dress and immensely high heels. She had long fake eyelashes, extensions and obvious breast implants. She looked like she was about 20 years old or so.
"Hey Erik, really nice seeing you here, do you think we can talk?, it's been a while."
When I looked back at him he had a very flirtatious smile going on and his eyes we're wandering up and down the girls body.
"Yeah, sure, I'll be right back Stella." He says to me as he gives me a light pat near my thigh.
They both started walking away together and turned the corner to where the stairs were. From where I was located, I couldn't quite tell where they had gone and once I got up, they were out of sight.
I went back to the kitchen and started pouring myself a drink. It was Malibu rum. I took a sip, and it was quite strong. The dryness of the liquid going down my throat. I found some pineapple juice and poured it along with my Malibu rum and took a bigger sip, savoring the taste. There you go. That's much better.
I ended up finishing the drink pretty quickly and found myself wanting more. Eh, what do I gotta lose? It's a Saturday night. I poured more of the rum and pineapple juice into the cup. Time kept passing by, and still no sight of Erik nor the blonde girl. I suddenly heard Demi's voice from outside and she was saying that it's time for some karaoke and that she will start out. I managed to get myself up and slither my way out of the house and onto the backyard.
She looked like she was really having fun. The music began to play and she started singing. The song of choice was Really Don't Care by Demi Lovato. That was one of her favorite artists. She claims that the reason she really admires her is mainly because they have the same name but I know it's more than that. She's obsessed.
Everyone started dancing and cheering and it was all such a fun sight. I don't know why I couldn't be so free and energetic like that. I just wasn't like that. I'm always so boring and uptight, not so outgoing; and would always rather be by myself.
I hear a voice shout my name and it was this girl named Jessica. She was one of Demi's cheerleading friends.
"Come join us!"
She yelled towards me. I paused for a short moment and then agreed to it. What the hell. It's time to be more fun. I finished my 5th drink and set it down on the table.I felt myself buzzing from the alcohol and I don't know why or how, but I really liked it. By the time I approached them, Demi was out of the stage and some guy with dreads , someone I don't quite recall went up the stage and took over. He began to rap. He was really good and everyone including I was loving him. We all clapped to the beat and cheered as he kept spitting out some sick rhymes every now and then. Demi was overly joyful to see me out and having fun. The rapper finished his song and got off the stage.
Everyone applauded him and as he walked down, got many slaps on the back from his guy friends and hugs from several girls. He must feel like a proud, accomplished guy right now, I thought. The DJ took the mic and announced that, that was enough of the karaoke and that it was time to get back to the music. He started by blasting salsa music and as the two very much Hispanics that Demi and I were, we began to dance to it.
We were both actually really good dancers when it came to salsa and many other types of dances as both our moms put us in several dance classes when we were younger. Everyone made a circle around Demi and I, and we didn't notice at all since we were both strongly dedicated to do the right dancing yet having fun with it all. The song was ending and we both thought 'big finish'. We turned ourselves around to the fast beat and ended with both of us landing in the perfect splits.
Everyone began to cheer immensely and applauded us like crazy. Girls came up to us and said that they didn't know we could dance like that and to show them how. Many guys just kept looking at us with very flirtatious smiles and I have got to say, it was such an exciting, thrilling feeling.
However though, my stomach started to feel down and I felt myself getting dizzy. I figured that maybe all of that dancing was what made me feel so bad all of a sudden. I stumbled my way back inside and spotted Zach. He quickly approached me and said that my dancing was sick and that I was amazing. I thanked him and suddenly slipped on a napkin that my heel got attached to. He tried hard to hold in the laugh and helped me up.
"Are you okay?"
"Eh I don't know, yeah, wait, no, I feel sick and weird and dizzy."
I responded extending every word. He finally got the idea that I wasn't okay and he picked me up and took me upstairs.
"What are you doing?"
I am now bridal style on his arms.
"We're going to the bathroom. You need to get all that alcohol out of you."
He dashed towards the main bathroom but found that it was full of a group of girls doing I don't know what. He then took me inside his bedroom, quickly locking the door, and taking me into his bathroom, resting me gently on the ground.
