Scott looked like he was about to have a melt down so I'm staying for lacrosse practice.
I'm next to coach barking orders of course. Coach blew the whistle but then I took it and blew in it. "Let's go one on one from up top!" I shout, "Jackson...take a long stick today." I order and he grabs it. "Atta boy" Coach comments to Jackson. "That's why your my favourite McCall." He comments and I smile.
Jackson goes on the field and Coach blows the whistle the game now beginning. Everyone's hustle looks great but they all just keep trying to tackle one another. "That's how you do it!" Coach shouts and I shake my head. "The masculinity is suffocating." I mumble, "Greenberg, take a lap." I order.
"Faster Greenburg." Coach shouts and blow his whistle. I see Scott is up next and I take a deep breath. "Oh Scotty please don't kill anyone." I mumble and coach looks at me. "What?" He shakes his head at me, than looks to the line. "McCall, what are you waiting for? Let's go." Jackson is there blocking the goal, just like the other few times. But now I'm worried for Jackson's safety.
Coach blows the whistle as Scott shakes his body. Scott runs straight at him but he looks slow and Jackson knocks him down making me wince. Coach walks over laughing, "Hey McCall. Hey McCall!-"
Jackson says something but I can't make it out. "My..My grandmother can move faster than that. And she's dead. You think you can move faster than the...lifeless corpse of my dead grandmother?" Coach comments and I walk over. "Yea coach." I hear Scott say but his voice it's different.
"I can't hear you." Coach states, "Yes coach." "Then do it again." Coach orders and grab my brothers helmet seeing his eyes. "Hell no sit your ass down." "McCall! Let your brother fix himself come here!" Coach shouts at me. "Calm down. Now!" I whisper shout and he nods.
I walk to coach and stand next to him. "McCall's gonna do it again! McCall's gonna do it again!" Coach announces as Scott moves back to the line. Coach blows his whistle, "Let's go!" He shouts and Scott runs. Scott runs hard and fast and coach follows him down the side, and when Scott reaches Jackson he plows over him knocking him off his feet.
Scott falls to the ground as Jackson winces in pain. I run over to Jackson and slide on my knees as Stiles runs over to Scott. "Hey cutie." I smile and touch the shoulder he's holding and he winced. I play around with it a little more but he won't let me do to much without wincing or groaning in pain. "McCall?" Coach says and I look up, "Most likely dislocated or shoulder separation." Coach takes a breath and I squeeze my way out to my brother.
"Come on, get up. Come on." Stiles ushers Scott and I follow them.
We reach the locker room, and Stiles pushes Scott in, "Come on here we go. There. That's it." Stiles comments. I walk over and kneel before Scott. "Scott?-" "Get away from me!" He screams at me making me move back into Stiles. Stiles pulls me up over his shoulder and runs with me on his back as Scott chases us.
Scott jumps onto a locker and Stiles immediately puts me behind him, "Scott! Scott! Do not touch your sister! She is your sister!" He grabs my hand and pulls me as Scott climbs over the lockers.
I grab a fire extinguisher as Scott jumps down and I spray it in his face. He growls as he thrashed around, Stiles pulled me out of the room me in his arms as my face was on his chest.
"Your okay. Your okay. Your okay." He cooed. "Stiles? Sage?" Scott called and I shook my head. "Okay just stay out here okay." I nod and he goes back inside leaving the fire extinguisher with me, "What happened?" Scott questioned, and I peeked my head through the doorway biting on my finger nails.
Stiles throws down one of his gloves as he grabs me in his arms. "You tried to kill her...It's like I told you before. It's the anger. It's our pulse rising. It's the trigger." Stiles repeats as he kneels in front of a dazed looking Scott leaving me at the doorway, "But thats lacrosse. It's a pretty violent game, if you hadn't noticed." Scott remarks, I go over to him and sit next to him. "It's gonna be a whole lot more violent if you end up killing someone on that field Scott." I warn. Stiles looks to me and than to Scott, "You can't play Saturday. You're gonna have to get out of the game." Stiles orders and Scott looks at him with disbelief.
